WARLOCK TITAN [850]
Turn OneThe first turn started with the double Plague Tower formation (proxied with a pair of Capital Imperialis models) doubling up to fire on the Warlock Titan. As it had been a while since Richard (my opponent) had played and he hadn't played against any of my
really heavy Barrage lists, the Warlock was too close to the Nightspinners and the three blast markers from that many barrage points auto-broke the Nightspinners, making the small number of activations in the Eldar list even more painful.
Retaining with my centrally-garrisoned DG Retinue (with the Supreme Commander) I then engaged the Rangers in the same urban area and broke them, even though only two died.
The Plague Zombies had landed and surrounded the second mounted Spirit Host over on my right flank, the Host then failed to activate to engage, even with the SC re-roll.
The Warlock doubled up to shoot the Plague Towers but the TK barrage didn't do much. The Spirit Host in the Warithgate then came out to engage the Plague Towers with supporting fire from the Warlock but were beaten off without much further damage.
The Warlock ended up breaking from massed shots.
The Nightspinners, as usual, failed to rally, while the Warlock and the lone Wraithguard stand from the engage both rallied.
Turn TwoThe Avatar arrived.
The Warlock doubled up again into position to support engagements and shot the Predators but only killed one.
Then the Avatar engaged but I can't remember what happened, I think it broke the Predators. Finally, the 'free' mounted Spirit Host engaged the Plague Towers but didn't get many macro hits and a vast number of reinforced armour saves (and the Warlock's two TK firefight rolls missing) resulted in plenty of dead Wraithguard/Wave Serpents.
We called it there as the Warlock was now unsupported and facing half my army.
