That was a most tactically challenging and fun battle Greg. Chaos owes it's victory to the supervision of "the Chaos cat". Valentino isn't nicknamed The Dark Lord for nothing. Excellent photo of him, and I'm still amazed at the photo detail throughout the AAR.
I found the Necrons Army a very tough opponent. While their bombers are bad news, they weren't overpowering as before.
My main problem when facing Necrons is a lack of targets turn 1 and their ability to pop up behind you after that.They make for a VERY different battle than against Orks or IG.

Thanks for the report, it looks like an interesting game.

I like as a minimum the dropping to 2 BP for the Death Shroud. I would also like it to lose MW - as a person without the Necron source information is there a specific reason for them having MW do we know?

Yes fluff and 40k rules would indicate MW (at the least) and also disrupt (they have "blind" and "pinning" in 40k).
