Interested to see how this went for the Orks, that's not many scoring formations in the list!

Turn 1: SM Wins initiative, hands it over to the Orks.

Ork Gargants (OG): Fighta Bombas go on CAP.

Space Marines (SM): Thunderbolts go on CAP.

OG: Fighta Bombas go on CAP.

SM: Red Warhound doubles up on the right flank.

OG: Supa Stompa marches up closer to the center.

SM: Vindicators doubles up closer to garrisoned Lootas. OW-fire from Lootas does 1BM on them. Vindicators fire and kill 1 Loota stand.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Vindicators. Thunderbolts intercept. None of the Formations hit their mark. Both Fighta Bombas and Vindicators get 1BM.

SM: Terminators in Thunderhawk ground assault Lootas in centre ruins. Fighta Bombas intercept. Thunderhawk and Fighta Bombas get 1BM each.
3 grots and 1 big gun dies at the expense of 1 terminator stand (fail!!). Orks win combat by 1 point and Thunderhawk and 1 terminator stand dies by hackdowns (ouch, poor SM-player!). Terminators flees behind ruins in the centre.

OG: Mega Gargant doubles up the road and fires on Vindicators. Only kills 1 tank (with friggin 10BP MW and several MW shots!!!)

SM: Predators advances up to huge hill on the center-right.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Vindicators. 2x Hunter AA misses it's target (Marines must have been celebrating the night before). 1 Vindicator and the Hunter is destroyed. The formations breaks and flees toward Ork deployment zone on the left flank.

SM: The Tacticals (BTS) are to afraid of the Mega Gargant and decides to go on OW by the SM Blitz.

OG: Gargant marches (with the help of the SC) towards the centre of the board next to the Supa Stompa.

SM: Blue Warhound doubles up to central ruins. Fires on Supa Stompa and strips 2 shields.

SM: Thunderhawk stands down.

END PHASE:

Terminators rally.
Vindicators fail to rally.

TURN 2: SM wins initiative.

SM: Red warhound doubles next to Supa Stompa and fires at it. Does 1DC damage.

SM: Blue Warhound retains and sustains on Supa Stompa. Fails to damage it but breaks the Ork WE. Supa Stompa flees toward Ork Blitz.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Red Warhound, manages to strip both shields and do 1 DC (hows that for lucky rork rolls and unlycky SM rolls!?)

OG: Gargant retains and sustains on Predators behind huge hill. All but 1 Predator dies and the formation breaks. The lone Predator flees towards right flank.

SM: Thunderbolts stand down.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Red Warhound. Does 1DC which is a critical so the Warhound explodes (Waaaaagh!!)

SM: Terminators Marshall and moves into ruins for cover.

OG: Mega Gargant (BTS) doubles on road and fires on Blue Warhound. It also manages to catch the terminators in the ruins with the Barrage templates. Both shield are stripped and 1 DC is done on Warhound, both Warhound and terminators breaks (thats some serious firepower the Mega Gargant is packing!)

SM: 2nd Thunderhawk with Terminators ground assault broken Supa Stompa near the orc blitz. The Stompa is destroyed with no losses for Terminators. They consolidate behond small mountain.

OG: Lootas doubles (with the help of the SC) to ruins on left flank. They fire on broken Vindicators. 1BM.

SM: Tacticals (BTS) doubles up on left flank and fires on Lootas in ruins. Kills 1 boyz stand.

OG: Fighta Bombas stand down.

OG: Fighta Bombas stand down.

END PHASE:

Terminators rallies.
Lone Predator rallies.
Vindicators fail to rally.
Blue Warhound fails to rally.

Turn 3: SM wins initiative.

SM: TActicals (BTS) engages Lootas in ruins on the left flank. They win the combat by 3-1 and the broken Lootas flees towards the SM Blitz.

OG: Gargant doubles towards Ork Blitz and fires on terminators. 1 stand dies.

SM: Terminators Marshalls and moves further behind small mountain near the Ork Blitz.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Terminators behins huge hill on the center-right. Chaplain dies and the formation breaks.

SM: Thunderbolts go on CAP.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack the lone Predator on the right flank. Thunderbolts intercept. 1 Fighta Bpmba and both Thunderbolts go down. The remaining Fighta Bombas only manages 1BM on the Predator. It breaks and falls back behind a mountain.

SM: Thunderhawk lands next to SM T&H objective on right flank.

OG: Mega-Gargant (BTS) doubles back towards left flank. Fires on Vindicators by ork blitz and wipes them out. Manages to catch Terminators in the barrage and puts 3BM:s on them.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Terminators. Looses 1 airplane to Hunter AA. Puts 1 BM on terminators.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Terminators. Kills 1 terminator stand and breaks the formation (and thus avoid giving both Blitz and T&H objectives to the SM).

END PHASE:

Blue Warhound rallies.
Both terminators rallies.
Lone Predator fails to rally.
Lootas rallies.

TURN 4: Orks win initiative

OG: Lootas doubles right behind the Tactcals (BTS) on the left flank and fires at them. 1 Rhino is destroyed.

OG: Mega-Gargant (BTS) retains and engages the Taticals (BTS). The Tacticals loose badly and is totally wiped out. The Orks claims the BTS goal.

SM: Terminators march to the right flank objective to claim it.

OG: Gargant advances towards Terminators at ork Blitz and fires at them. 1 stand dies and the lone chaplain falls back towards the left flank.

SM: Blue Warhound doubles to ork blitz and fires on Gargant, strips 3 shields.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack terminators by right flank objective. 1BM.

SM: Thunderhawk ground assaults Gargant by Ork Blitz ( a desperate move but the only way to win this game is to get the Gargant of that blitz). Gargant wins engagement by 1 pont and Thunderhawk is destroyed.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Blue Warhound. Strips 1 shield.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Blue Warhound. Strips 1 shield, do 1 DC.

OG: Fighta Bombas ground attack Blue Warhound. Does 1 DC which is a critical and the Warhound explodes! TSNP is claimed by the Orks.

END PHASE:

Chaplain fail to rally.

Victory for Gargant Big MOb with 2 (BTS and TSNP) - 0

My thoughts:

The marine player was extremly unlucky in the beginning and also did a mistake in not hitting the smaller formations harder early. He was not a happy camper the 5th time his hunters missed my FB:s either.
I think the outcome would have been different if the Lootas had been wiped out by the terminators. Meybe they should have hit the gargant harder also....

That said. The Mega-Gargant is a unstoppable best! I really don't see how anyhting else then an Emperor Titan can kill it. I wouldn't play with it to often since the activation count would be to low. I rather go with 3 Gargants. And I'm very much in love with Fight-Bombas! Will probably try 4 formations of 5 next time. Great for hunting down both WE:s and AV:s! Plus it's cool to have scores of ork Kamikaze fighters in the air!
