Turn 1 Eldar wins initiative
Phantom Titan advance towards Talon BTS in woods, both shoots at each other but no kills!
Heavy Infantry doubles towards nightspinners kills one breaking it.
Falcons advance towards Talon 1 killing 2 dreads. (dreads fire on overwatch but the falcons saves 4 hits)
Eldar retains. Guardians engages Talon 1 from the Wraithgate killing them all.
Warhound 2 advance on the guardians killing 4 + the farseer.
Guardians in waveserpents takes a hold action and moves behind the Titan
Talon 2 defends the Blitz against the Vampire. Overwatch
Jetbikes doubles on Warhound 2 knocking down a shield
Clan march towards the enemy lines as there are no one in sight…
Fireprisms take a Hold action and moves out of assault range from the Clan
Warhound 1 doubles on the fireprisms killing 3 and breaking them
Vampire takes a hold action (even with the supreme commander onboard!)
End of turn 1 Everyone except the Fireprisms Rally

Turn 2 Iron Hands win the initiative
Warhound 2 advance on the Falcons killing 2 and routing them
Retains initiative, Heavy Infantry advance on the duardians inside the Waveserpents killing all but one serpent and two guardians who managed to hide behind the mighty titan.
Jetbikes assault the Warhound 2 stripping them of all shields and doing 1 wound with the help of some guardians. Only loses 1 jetbike and wins the assault chasing the Warhounds away from the forest.
Eldar retain, Phantom Titan advance on the Heavy infantry killing 4 vehicles (hunter included)
Tripple retain, Vampire ground assaults Talon BTS. The remaining Hunter lays a BM on the Vampire and when the aspects emerge Talon 2 fires on overwatch at the Vampire causing a wound (and later routing and killing it if we played it correctly…) The Aspects supported byjetbikes and guardians kills the whole Talon BTS! 4 aspects die breaking the formation. (Bionics special rule saved one dread in the assault but he died later during support fire, the loss of a venerable dread caused a BM on the nearby marines)
Clan advance to some buildings and kills another nightspinner making the last one to run away.
Guardians advance into the woods and shoots at the Heavy Infantry with some MW attacks killing 2 marines
Warhound 1 doubles on the broken Aspect warriors killing them all including the supreme commander!
End of turn 2 Eldar Routs everything besides the Falcons. Iron Hands uses the Supreme Commander and routs everything

Turn 3 Iron Hands wins the initiative after the Avatar and court turns up in front of the Phantom titan
Warhounds 2 sustains on the Phantom (catching some guardians in the blast killing 4) 1 wound
Retains with heavy infantry who advances on the Avatar doing 1 wound
Fireprism takes a hold action and breaks
Clan doubles on the nightspinner finally killing the last one (also securing the Blits and another objective)
Guardians in waveserpent does a move towards an objective and clear away some BM
Talon 2 secures their own blitz
Phantom advance on the heavy infantry killing e marines and making it flee.
Warhound 1 advance on the jetbikes killing 2 and making it flee (victory is near as the Eldar will have a hard time to stop the Iron Hands from getting 2 VP)
The Avatar engages Warhounds 2 with some Phantom support killing one of the hounds and damages the other one. (The nearby marines gets a BM due to the great loss… but is broken so they don’t care)
End of turn 3
Iron Hands has Blitz and Take and Hold, Eldar only has BTS = 2-1 Victory to the Marines

Summary: Most of the Game was won when the Eldar player managed to fail 3-4 activations in the first round but besides that: ::)

I really like the IH support Warhound. It gives the marines some barrage and forces you to use the hound in some other ways then usual. It might be too good in this list since most of the other stuff is anti-tank but right now I think the ordinary warhound is a bigger problem when it comes to power level (a WE that regenerates shields and moves at the speed of light for 275p is very good).

Eldar is really good at assaults, this is the second time I positioned some dreads in overwatch in the front just to see them die in assaults... The dreads is really good at assaulting so that makes me think they are good at defending but when the guardians stops 6 cm away...

The predators in the heavy infantry is nice and feels good.

Never managed to try out the new veterans as they deployed on an empty patch...

The Phantom have seen better days, missing most of its TK shots

(Johan, who lost, was not so glad afterwards but we might catch a game soon again so he will get his revenge.)

It looks like I need a spaceship if I'm going to get some use of all those dreadnoughts...

Would you think the Warhound should be restricted to Packs only?

Well it was Johans first real game and he was mostly disappointed with the Phantom titan and learned the hard way that space marines is a lot harder then guardians...

I think the Warhounds should be restrickte to packs but not in this army only. So until the Codex marines get this change keep them as they are.

I agree with the warhounds as packs unless you're the Ad Mech but I am also happy to see us lead the way ;)

This was interesting as a batrep as it was free of space ships. I would like to see some more work with the Heavy Infantry. It'd be interesting to swap out a clan for another big Heavy Inf formation (provided the Morlock becomes a core formation)
