So, vassel.

I think for a better game I would like...

A table with the half way line and deployment areas (for sides and corners) marked.

A selection of 'big' ie. 15-30cm across or double for hills, terrain pieces to make setting up a matter of dropping 12 items on, not 50.

Either a tool that allowed me to place a transparent circle over a model or a selection of circles I could place on things to sho how far they can move/fire
OR/AND (preferably)
When I pick up something to move it the track it leaves automatically measures the distance its been dragged.

Because movement is a massive chore as is range finding for shooting.

Now how do you make such things for vassel? Does it require photoshop (can bodge) or coding (cannot bodge).

Anyway, oddest moment of game was shooting shadowswords at terminators and missing one, the chaplain making his save and so only killing one stand.

The army was going to be infantry until I realised the consequences of this on vassel and picked a load of expensive units instead!
