Surely this thread is subjective? It doesnt take into account the skill or luck of the player. I find these to be as big, if not more, of a factor in the game.

For example, we played 3 games at the weekend from the training scenarios with each person fielding identical armies. The first two games where a major swift victory for one side (ending with the objectives all taken by one team and the other team left in tatters, both times) and in the 3rd game ended in victory for the same player only due to unlucky rolls by the opposition.

Played two games on 6th of July with the above, both same results. Armies were slightly different for both games.

Net-EA Space Marines (with trial changes such as Land Raiders with Tacticals) vs Frosthammer's Net-EA Thurgrims Squats

Space Marine victory. Squats conceded during turn 3 as half their army was dead and all the rest (bar the un-shot-at Colossus and biker formation trapped down the mine) was broken, with not much damage to the space marines (one Land Speeder formation wiped out and some casualties here and there). I played well but luck was definitely significant - I had very large amounts of dice rolls go above averagely well for me during the game, including a number of assaults.

Points played - 3000.

Space Marines (with trial changes) victory over Red Corsairs. Turn 3, Break Their Spirit and Defend the flag to nothing for the corsairs.

AMTL vs Albork Orkstein 4000p

Orks win in 3rd round, AMTL resigns with only one battle titan left, all other formations were wiped out or on the run. Would it go to round 4, Orks would win by TSNP and by TNH.

Codex Marines vs Gargant Big Mob 3000p

Orks win turn 4 with 2-0 (TSNP and BTS).

Minor losses for orks, major losses for SM. Mega-Gargant wiped out SM BTS.
