//Roleplay of Turn 7. No matter if its good or bad, I'm frickin inspired to write it down. :) //

-Incoming, barrage shit! *shouted a sergeant of the VII. Mechanized Company. The explosions suppressed the captain's command of take cover.*
-Ghaaaaa! *screams of pain could be overheard. Others were dying silently as the shrapnel hacked them all over.
Conscripts of a Supply Truck convoy [just finished rearming the VII.] hit the dirt, while guardsmen cower themselves inside their chimeras. Even the company commissar, Holt had to close the hatch and wait out the ork artillery bombardment.
Among the ruined streets of Hive Infernus there were little or no space to spread out with vehicles despite the reliable manourveability of the chimera chassises. Yet the VII. Company had no choice but to move or die. Through vox connection the captain received the next order; move to the Governor's Palace and reinforce it's defenses ASAP until further instructions.

The chimeras quickly left their former position, temporarily getting off the ork grip, but not without losses.
-3 and 6 not responding! 4's track damaged badly, their status is immobilized. *sounded the captains vox of report.*
-Our orders are clear! We must press onward to the palace. Form up in echo column!
*Commissar Holt, opened the hatch, and pulled out his laspistol. An ol' reliable common manufactured weapon that he was carrying through Volistad. His chainsword were -newly dispatched for this campaign by the Departmento Munitorum-, rested on his side.

Far away, the lumbering noises of heavy gunfire, the spark crackings of small arms, the rytmical pecking of flak attacks, followed by the whizzing sound of aircrafts... and finally a red blazing light appeared. It soon evolved into flaring level and then of a sudden everything ceased...



No more sound, not even heartbeat. No color, no light, no feeling... a simple human nerve was too little, and sensitive for such an enormous plasma explosion that almost ripped the entire Hive apart. Holt felt himself on a low-gravity moon, flying without bounds, without war, agony and pain. A man fighting allthrough his life, could only dream of the peace like this...
He don't know how many minutes or perhaps hours he was in this ... state. But as always, every dream ends sometime...

-sss... whou kjjj?! *a blurred face asked.*
~what? *Holt wanted to reply but could only cough deeply... he soon realized why, as it was a dark smoke around him, strangling his lung. He felt a specific burnt smell. He remembered it by experience. At a firing training with plasma weaponry... yes it is similar but way more dense!* Another familiarity joined in a form of couple. Burnt flesh and pain.
Kilometres away from the detonation, yet Holts face and hands got burnt by the supreme heat level. His flack jacket seemed as still hissing.
-Sir, are you okay?! *The smutted face with a flak helmet asked again. Somehow the Imperial Aquila in middle of the helmet remained clear white.
-I'm ... alive... guardsman... guardsman Brendon! Report status! Ghh *Holt sit up.*
-The IBMS, sir. It got blown up! The orks got baked for good. *cough, cough*
-I see, and it looks like the Emperor saved us from the toast, our damages are merely peripheral. Arghhh! *Holt wanted to get up, but his body refused to stand.*
Quickly! We must get back to our rides to continue to the palace! Help me stand! *guardsman Brendon, helped him up.*
-And now, where is my kim?!
*Commissar Holt got surprised when guardsman Brendon pointed at a chimera ...50 metres away...*

This battlefield is so inventive and unusual - it looks really great. Very nice job.

Exactly the kind of ambitious project Epic is ideal for :)

We have start this ambitious campaign of 20 turn, that represent an escalation war. And, at this moment, I can say that is 1.000 better than an usual tournament battle. Play scenario is more epic!!!

Your Siege of terra is simply fantastic! I've take a lot of inspiration about my next project, that is the siege of terra too!!
Great idea, splendid realization. And thank to all and to simulated knave for have create the list!

Now we are going to play the turn 11, the clash is at a apocalypse level!
For me, that I'm using the ork, -10 turn for conquer the governor palace

This is just pure awesomeness, can it be we merely reached only half of the battle? There is another part of this neverending glory?! ...I'm still looking at the pictures... and just... wow...

~The storm grows, unceaseable... it's enormous majesty, may break this world apart... but not our willing to fight!~ *Commissar Holt was looking up high on the skies. Face and hand bandaged, small dose painkiller injected and he is ready to move again. His tinnitus gone, the sounds of battle was heard clearly again. But it was his eyes that caught interest!
In the smoke gulfed air, a lone bomber, chased by nine ork stukkas! Impressive and brave manouvres was demonstrated, as the pilot tried everything to avoid the inevitable.
The fall of the heroic pilot, was escorted by the respectful salute of around half the men in the palace, including the political officer, who got suddenly interrupted by a vox operator guardsman.
-Sir! We have received a vox message from Lord Commissar Yarrick!
-Does the Lord still in contact?
-No sir! Lost connection, but I recorded the message.
-Play it then loudly!
-Yes sir! *The vox operator turns the speaker on, turns the volume bone max, and plays the urgent message. The old man's hoarsely voice filled the large palace chamber where the VII. mechanized company, some seceded troops and refugees resided.*
-"by now you Commissar Holt are at the command of the defense of the Governor Palace. We don't know what will happen on the space bay, don't look at this. Defend the palace at any cost, to the last man."
*Silence sitted inside the chamber, while outside the Hive hurtled all over, with clashes of thousands, men, ork and steel. The political officer calmly walked into the middle of his men. His bandaged hand rested on the ricasso of his chainsword.*
-Sergeant Moloch!
-Yef fir? *A bald, scant teethed, but strenghtful man stood up.*
-Take the yellow squad around the palace corridors, and organize scout positions. Report immideatly if anything nears the palace!
-YEF FIR! *some spit squirted* YOU CAN COUNT ON ME! *the yellow squad left the chamber, boots knocked on the shiny tiles, las ammunitions, frag grenades rattled, while some leaked swears restlessly tries avoiding Commissar Holts ears.
-Lieutenant Feitcher!
-Yes officer Holt? *A young fair-haired, rigid, scarless uniform stepped closer.*
-I need a report of the company general state, and surveying among these refugees, and the seceded troops. We are going to need every available hand.
-Yes officer Holt. I understand and ready to execute. *The answer was somewhat overconfident. Just as the eyes of men, around Holt. They feared and respected him, tried to show courage, but deep inside dreadness dominated their hearts. The hell, which Infernus become, was too much for them.*

-I know what you feel. I remember it from my cadet years. *Some of the men may have noticed a tiny comprehension in the political officers voice.*
~Can it be?~ *That was their thought, and they continued to listen.*
-Our very lives are at stake, and there is a significant possibility that we are going to lose every one of it!
~It can't be!~
-It is these times when he have nowhere to turn, but to the Emperor! For safety, you think?
No!
For honor, that we shall serve the Imperium in it's darkest hours! That is our duty, that is our fate!
Why would our Immortal Lord require us to withstand hell itself?!
I personally experienced the answer at Volistad!
Just like Infernus! Volistad was in flames, ignited by orks savagery! I saw it all there! Regiments of tanks, artillery gunned them down, engines of war vaporized them, the fylers of the proud Navy shadowed the sky with their fury... Yet! *His word waved through the wobbly civilians and soldiers.*
None... of these could hold off the ork invaders... NONE, but only ONE! *Holt held a short pause, and continued with a more heightened protrusion.*
The very ranks of infantry! Tens of thousands men, and women! You!
It all turned the tides at Volistad as the ork attacks got paced down, for every metres they advanced and in the final battle, they got repelled by the tenacity of guardsmen!
This is the morale of Volistad.

*Commissar Holt pulls out his laspistol, showing an engravement on it: "Morale of Volistad"*

And I Am determined to carry out it's will on Infernus!

Thanks! I would love to see you do the Siege of Terra. I enjoyed doing my version, but wanted it to be BIGGER :) . Good luck with the project.

ORKS WAAAGH:
So, the previous report which contained an analysis of the turns from 1 to 5 was closed on the sector of IBMS and on the space bay. The later turns saw the perpetration of my initial strategy. The deployment of the mega Gargant, the Stompa and later fortresses with the titan killer weapons forced the imperial player to escape from the sector, for not sacrifice the mechanized infrantry detachment. But, my opponent was able to challenge it as much as possible, and when I finally managed to conquer it for a turn, I could not keep the second, for one simple reason: KA-BOOM. The emperor titan was able to destroy the three missiles, and 6 do on the roll of the critical effect, as well as the missile is detonated the whole fortress, tearing out of hand the possibility of launching a long-range missile: I would definitely choose a warp vortex missile and with that I would have destroyed the ordinatus armageddon which will come on the 12th turn. And with the fortress, he annihilated an entire mob of orcs. On the central side, I have worn the troops besieged in the palace of the governor and then the leman russ with a soopa Stompa, a continuous and relentless barrage. The formation of artillery deployed in the first turn, strong of 3 titan killer weapons, often on the alert, he forcibly kept away an approach of imperial troop to my deploy zone. I used the 500pts kult of speed to do a fake moving in the sector of IBMS, but when my opponent deployed the emperor titan I've easily moved with a march in the real sector where I've always thought of starting the bulk of the lastest battle: the space bay. This mass of reinforcements put to a severe difficult my opponent, and has created the nemesis in the Imperial lines: the Chaos. Now, on the eve of the eleventh turn, the imperial line of defense, the deployment zone, it's a narrow strip of land, all the imperial formations are engaged in the front of the space bay, and those on the Infernus square from the Governor palace are incoming towards the space bay, fearing and now realizing that the crucial battle of the next five turns will take place right there. Luck, however, I was still rewarded, mekboy Gargant succeeded with two soopa Lifta droppa and vaporize a warlord titan without shields, two d6, 12 to the result! Incredible. The grip of the orcs then approaching, a pincer tightens the Imperial forces on the left and right side of the battlefield, concentrating all the battle in the spacebay. However, my opponent has always reacted in an optimal manner, and the storm has come to the rescue just in the right shifts. Thinking about it, without the storm now the situation is even more critical for the imperial side. Here we go, we run towards the second half of the campaign. It's time of war machines, but I do not forget my goal. That at the end of the twentieth turn is only one: the governor's palace. And then, orcs march in victory to the space bay, and the road to the governor's palace will be free, on the ruins of the Emperor titan, Will hang the flags of Great Warlord Ghazkhull on top of the spiral tower!

ARMY OF THE IMPERIUM:
So... the troops in the missile silos slowly moved to converge towards the governor's palace in the hope of the arrival of the Emperor Titan. The Titan survived, the glorious Murum Deus II, who fights by the first turn, his only role was to keep the area around the space bay as much as possible to await reinforcements, and artillery fire as much as possible in the hope of having time to make a strategic retreat in the center of my deployment zone, but the advent of the storm has blocked the movement of march.
The emperor Titan has played an essential role in destroying the missile silos and then converge on the upper level and protect the governor's palace along with the reaver titan and the leman russ company. The imperial infantry has played a marginal role in occupying the territory initially and then support in the event of the Titans engagements. The warlord titan Malleus Punitor had to support Murum Deus II in the field to the dispute or the conquest of the space bay, but the storm has limited movement them too.
I conclude with the Warhound titan and supreme commander on the HQ company, deployed to a single, clear objective: the conquest of the space bay!
Should the Emperor protect us!

The first quarter of the battlefield was in the ork hands, and the second quarter see the ork have an advantage to the imperial, and the fact that the ork had win 7 initiative on 10 and had hold the spacebay 8 turn had give to the orks more reinforcement in the battlefield. But, at the moment, a great gargant is near to explode and the mekboy gargant too, so at the end of the next turn the value will be little different, though not more different.
All the eyes look at the next turn, if the imperial army win the inititative can balance the forces in the battlefield.
And anothe consideration is that in the turn 12 arrive another 3k pts of reinforcement, and in the imperial side, there is a strike force rapid and powerfull (the special vehicle landing vessell) and hevay firepower, the ordinaturs armageddon and a shadowsword. All the ork forces in the imperial deploy zone now must do the must damage as possible before to be destroyed or forced to retreat by the incoming reinforcement
