Had a fight against a friend who borrowed my Stigmatus Cult (that is not quite finished so we used some proxies)

TURN 1
Eldar goes first.
E: Stormserpent 1 doubles across the field, puts a blastmarker on Cult 4. Prepping it.
E: Retain: Wraithguards in Wave serpents doubles across, also targeting the Cult 4. Killing one.
E: Tripple Retain: Guardians emerge from the Stormserpents webbportal, engaging Cult 4. Killing 9 in the combat with support from the Wraithguards and another 4 in hackdown. Removing Cult 4 from the game. Three guardians die and the rest moves into cover in the nearby forest.

C: Cult 3 summons 6 lesser daemons and doubles towards Rangers. Rangers shoots in ovwewatch but both perts only manage to put a BM on each other.
C: Cult 1 rolls double 1 on initiative and makes a move inside the AA umbrella.
E: Wraithlords emerge from the Webbway portal and advances towards Cult 3, wounding the Altar and getting ready for the next turn.

C: Basilisks sustain on poorly placed Guardians and Wraithguards with waveserpents, getting 10 models underneath the templates but only manages to kill one wraithguard…
E: Nightwings stand down.
C: Hellfire Cannons advance on the second Stormserpent wounding it twice and making it flee to cover. (I totally forgotten about their long range so I left the Stormserpent in the open…)
E: Guardians (rear guard) advance on the Hellfire Cannons placing a BM on them and threatening to assault next turn.
C: Cult 2 advance on the Guardians, protecting the Cannons, killing 4 and breaking the formation who runs back to the Blitz.
C: Silver Towers pop up and shoots at the Wraithlords killing 2.
C: Lord of Battle moves out of the Wraithguards assault range and shoots at the Wraithlords but they make all their saves so only places a BM and making them flee but since they are fearless they only moves a little.

TURN 2
Avatar and Swooping hawks enters the battle.
Eldar goes first.

E: Wraithguards in waveserpents advance on the Lord of Battles prepping it and causing one wound.
E: Retain. Stormserpent advance towards Lord of Battle and shoots a little at Clan 3 almost killing the Altar who is saved by its magic.
E: Tripple retain: Wraithguards engage the Lord of Battle from the newly arrived gate pausing 6 cm away and gets some help from their friends in waveserpents. The fighting leaves the Lord of Battle with one wound but the last hit caused a critical so the machine runs rampage and runs over a couple of Wraithguards until it hits the Stormserpent and is killed. No Eldar were hurt during this engagement.

C: Cult 1 summons 3 Lesser Daemons and double on the Swooping Hawks killing 3 with some lucky shots making the last one go away to a nearby forest.
C: Retain (but uses Supreme Commander) Silver towers shoot at the nearby Wraithguards destroying 5 Waveserpents.
E: Guardians Marshall and moves a little
E: Retain Avatar engage Clan 3. Kills 3 and suffers 2 wounds, rolling snake eyes in the end causing him(?) to lose the assault and also breaks the supporting Wraithguards with one waveserpent…
C: Cult 3 Summon 1 greater and 1 lesser Daemon then engages the Guardians and nearby Wraithlords. The fight goes to a second round thanks to good elder armour. But in the end 4 Wraithlords and 6 Guardians die while the Cult loses 4 Daemons, 3 Mutants and one Big Mutant.
E: Nightwings attack Clan 1 killing 2 Trucks.
C: Hellfire Cannons kills the second Stormserpent.
E: Rangers shoot at Cult 3 killing one Cultist
C: Basilisks shoots at the fleeing Guardians at the Blitz and the farseer is left as a lone survivor.
C: Cult 2 moves into the ruins
Nightwings jinx and fly away, Wraithguards near the enemy Blitz fail to rally even with the Supreme Commander making turn 3 look a little darker.

TURN 3
Cult goes first
C: Basilisk prep the Wraithguards and kills one.
C: Retain. Clan 3 summon 3 lesser daemons and engage the Wraithguards in close combat. Killing 4 (only one left)
E: Stormserpent advance on the Silver towers killing 2 and making them break
E: Retain Nightwings shoots at the Basilisks killing 1.
C: One basilisk still fires at the lone swooping Hawk and breaks it.
E: Rangers shoots at the Cult 3, 1 BM
C: Clan 1 shoots at the Wraithguards killing the last Waveserpent.

C: Hellcannons advance over the hill and shoots at the farseer but fails to kill him but makes him run away thus claiming the Blitz

Not much to do now so the game ends with the Chaos Cult as a winner. 2 or 3 - 0. (Blitzkrieg, Take and Hold and possible Defend the Flag but we didn’t do the rally phase so…)

CONCLUSIONS
I really needed more long range firepower. Some of the annoying stuff (read Silver Towers) was always out of reach. Had Revenants in the first build but they didn’t make the cut.
Nightwings did almost nothing but then the Cult had no planes…
Wraithguards and Wraithlords is really tough. The Cult had very little MW so the soaked up a lot of damage. Wraithlords is really difficult to use since they want to get into CC but only moves 15cm. Waveserpents and other skimmers is good to have if you face CC monsters.
As usual it is all well when you are on top of things and moves first, dictating the engagements so there are FF not CC. Not as much fun when the other part wins the initiative.
Looking in the mirror I would probably have exchanges the Wraithlords for something else, Falcons or Jetbikes? Also there were too much focus on the opponents Blitz so I left the whole other flank open. I usually have some fast moving stuff that can change sides but not this time…
Counting the number of times my Wraithguards supported an engagement it is strange it did not go better, but I did kill that Lord of Battle before it could do so much harm.
