| Post subject: | Poll: Ork planes for the bad moons list |
As the Bad Moons list includes lots of newer unit types that weren't around when EA was developed and in that regard is kind of a 'kitchen sink' modern list, I'm wondering whether we should include the newer ork flyers like dakkajets and wazbom blastajets to replace the older fightas and landas? I'm throwing it open to the community with a handy poll |

I'm normally all for adding modern things to lists but to my mind the newer orky 40k fighters variants abstract perfectly well into the Fighta Bommer profile we have. There are no models specific for them either and it would just add unecesary confusion. I'm much more for adding the larger Ork Bommer from Aeronautica to the list instead. |

yeah I'm with GlynG that dakkajets/blastajets == Fighta Bomba in EA in all likelihood. Seems overly detailed. I mean if you were to switch them up what do they add that's fundamentally different? They're not interceptors or anything so that's out. They've got a bunch of mekboy crap tacked on by that's not really different than anything else orky; Everything being a kustom job anyways. If you wanted to represent the fact that Bad Moons themselves have more teeff therefore moredakka and toys then I'd suggest instead a Acz Flyboy character that can be added to represent the bestest of the bestest mekboy add-ons (weapons, saves, whatever) |

You could add the bomber as others have suggested, and I am with Jimmy at least, other smaller aircraft are covered by the generic Fighta-Bombaz. I just add the usual note of caution about Aircraft power-creep, and wonder what stats would be provided and the cost? |
