I know there is the Vanguard Skinnerz Crusher mini, which is ok for say a super stompa, however I am looking for either a link to a 3d printable version of the GW Gargant/ Slasha Gargant, or a good looking proxy for one from another 3rd party company. I am looking for the pot belly with belly gun look.

I have looked on various websites that sell them from Craftworld games, Ebay and ChaosOrk's Superstore, however the cost of postage or the actual cost of one of the original minis is more than I want to pay.

I was toying/ experimenting with modifying some 40K Killa Kans, however I could not get the pot belly look, and I am not completely happy with the results.

Any websites or links to where I can get a good looking 3rd party version of a Gargant would be appreciated.

I've got a Lucius pattern Warlord proxy from them and they're working on truescale Imperator and Warmonger proxies that'll be about 20cm tall.

Hi!

Definitely a great model!

Too bad I loathe that particular pattern, LOL!

I'm definitely interested in the warmonger and Imperator, 20cm? Sign me up!

I'm very curious about that sorta gargant since I first saw it on Facebook and while back. Not sure about the dimensions against a gargant. I don't know anything about most current 40k stuff be make anything useful as a comparison. That going to be proper gargant or perhaps better as a mechboy gargant proxy?

There isn't a 40k Gargant to compare it to but the Dread on the left it on a 60mm base if that helps Jimmy? I'd say it is a good fit (maybe a smidge on the small side) for a truescale regular Gargant. I have no idea if they'll do a larger Great Gargant in time, probably depends on sales and interest I expect.

I made an attempt to kit bash one from a 40K Ork Killa Kan. It does not look properly chubby, and it is also the size of a great gargant once I get a proper robotic ork head on it - a wee bit smaller than my plastic mega gargant I managed to purchase.

The Killa Kan is either slightly smaller than or the same size as the 40K Dreadnought, so it would be a decent size for a true scale gargant or a current scale great gargant.

It would make collecting an Ork gargant big mob easier.

Yee-Ha, I have just ordered 3 of dem garganty things for my orkish collection.

I hope they get here faster than my wargames exclusive order for a single Cypheria miniature. It has been over 6 weeks - 47 days in fact, and the email response was a tracking number from Rumania that I could not track the parcel with, and a promise from the seller that they would refund the money if the parcel does not arrive. Thankfully PayPal does a 180 day buyer protection for transactions. My orders that come from the UK, even those that travel via the USA, and its increased customs checks do not take 6 weeks.

I suppose I get worried, after being bit buy an Ebay company that was called Titanmech (now closed thanks to me). He did not send me a 40K Banelord titan that I had paid for, that he was going to make and ship to me. 6 others were stung with the same con.

That is why I only ordered one 19 Euro miniature as a test purchase.

I do love the look of the Orky Gargants. I just need a lot of support forces for the army now.

Did you ever receive the Gargants you ordered Deb?

Have to say it's probably one of the best Gargant-proxy miniatures I have seen, would be keen to order some of them.

I did, and they are as big as the old GW Mega-Gargant, but wider. They sometimes have a few bits of resin that need pruning as the mould deteriorates, before it is likely fixed again, however the detail is quite good. Well worth the 19 Euros they cost (and they come with a base). I would post pictures here, however my photobucket account is being a D&^K to use, and I can not pay the absurd upgrade price of $100.00 for a number of yearsthey demand as their system does not let me make the payment. It means I can not post pics to 3rd party websites like this.

However I can send a pic to you via an email. I will have to take some photos, compared to normal GW slasha gargant/ Mega Gargant and the Skinnerz Crusher. Compress it to document form, and this can be sent as an apprx 250Kb picture.
