just a thought to give the list a little more flavour, I'm sure we're too far down the development path now but I couldn't not share it ;)



+1 for this idea, I would argue most Ork players have this model and they are still quite common on eBay. Mekboy Gargants would be a great addition to the list. They could be an upgrade to Stompa Mob formations and/or Loota Warbands.

E&C and I had a 4k game last week with the Gargants facing Vanaheim. The game was tight with the Vanaheim squeezing a 2-0 win on the third turn (Blitz & TnH). We would have had a fourth turn if both E&C and myself and remembered that Gargants can actually March which would have lead a Gargant to return to defend the Blitz. However, the Vanaheim might have been able to block it with scouts.

Difficult game tactically although it should have felt easy for the Vanaheim as having numbers, speed, scouts and in this version of the list lots of aircraft they were certainly at an advantage.

To be clear, I realized I'd been ignoring the possibility of Marching back to my Blitz, and by the time I remembered I could do it, I'd moved a broken formation into the area, which meant Tim later got to break the freshly-arrived Gargant by intermingling it with some broken chaff in a clipping engagement.


We've now played 6 games lately. Fun schtuff.

We may have been lax and forgotten to write down the results...

A general tendency towards points wins is my basic recollection.
