Sorry for being so pedantic =P

Okay; so the demon prince replaces the whole stand of models, while the Blood Lord just replaces the character?
Those Chosen; they can still take Land Raiders or Slaughterfiends, but need to pay full price for them?

No worries.Anytime.

You are correct regarding both points.
- The Daemon Priince replaces a stand
- The Blood Lord replaces the character
- Chosen can still take the other options and pay the full price

I should make a final decision on the Dreadnought shortly and then I will update the list for you. Hopefully it will not put your work out that much ::)

The deadline for armybook submissions is November 1st
I'm hoping to get the WE to APPROVED status by that point - what issues, if any, are there with the list?

The following changes have been accepted into the World Eaters to update the list to V3.7.

Changes and PDF updated in first post.

I will get this off to Steve54 for final approval and a copy will also go to Dobbsy to start the formatting

Proposed Final Changes for 2011

Brass Scorpions:
- Changed to 1-3 @ 200 points each
- Error in armour corrected back to 5+ (from 4+)


Lord of Battles
Purchase price is now 1 for 425 points or 2 for 800 points


Character Upgrades
Are able to be given core units and upgrades.


Transports Options

- Rhinos as a Transport Upgrade removed.
- World Eaters Berserker Retinue gain optional Rhinos and be priced at 300 points for the base formation.
- Transport option taken away from Terminators
- Transport options now replace Rhinos
- Land Raider upgrades re-priced to +125 points per two


Dreadclaws
- Re-priced @ 50 point upgrade for a Chosen Retinue or 75 point upgrade for a Berserker Retinue.


Blood Slaughterer
- Added to the Khorne Assault Engines (five for 250 points).
- Removed Blood Slaughterer as a Walker upgrade


World Eater Dreadnought
- remains as is for now.

More questions from me :)

Khorne Assault Engines 4 Khorne Assault Engines in any combination OR 5 Blood Slaughterers Assault Walkers 250 points
What counts as an assault engine? I mean model wise. Would it be a deathdealer, blood cauldron, and tower of skulls.

I'm assuming the support engines are doomblasters and cannon's of khorne?

Yeah. Pretty much any of the old Khorne engines (or scratch builds) that are not the Doomblaster or Cannon of Khorne.

That is correct. Had to separate them to ensure this area provided different tactical options

Been looking at the list again due to TOEG.

What is the reasoning behind not allowing keeper of skulls upgrade on possessed?
*edit: just noticed that possessed don't seem to get daemonic pact anymore?

And im dreaming here given that the list is now done, but, AA varient daemonic suport engine? :D

I guess it is all about these guys being quite disturbing even to their own legion. While many have given themselves over to Khorne, the bloodrage and the psycho-lobotomy, there is still something quite unnerving about having the same but possessed by Daemons. So much so that only the Favoured of Khorne can walk among them and have no fear of them attacking him/her.

That there sir are fightin' words! ;) The Possessed actually have the Daemonic Pact as part of their initial cost of 200 points. This was done for 2 reasons:

1. not to have a sub 200 point unit
2. to help encourage Daemon Summoning

Finished to a point of being ready for tournament play. The AA for the list (a deliberate weakness) was limited to its own aircraft. Has Forgeworld or GW recently released another money-spinner that I should be aware of?

Nope, I was just being greedy and struggling to get drop capability, war engines and air cover in the 1/3 allowance :-[ Support engines look a bit weak/expensive to me (though i've never used them, so ::) ) just thought it might give em more oomph.

Um, while they look fragile;
- the Doomblasters can drop 8BP @ 45cm at full unit strength and they are Fearless
- the Cannons of Khorne have 90cm! 5+MW and they are also Fearless

These are great area denial units and only for the small price of 275 points! :o

I would love to make them cheaper however I think I just may get a "please explain" and I would not be able to :)

Any reason the terminators cannot currently take land raider transports? The LRs are listed as being able to carry them at 2 slots each, but the WE termie formation does not have the transport upgrade option listed.

Hola Apoc

The decision to not place in transport forvthe terminators was for two reasons really:

1. Unlike other forces that seem to have the option, the World Eaters i feel would not waste termies in a transport to get into battle. It is simply teleport and start the killing. For their points sink, the tactical manouvering can be done via bigger firmations (berserkers and bikes).

2. The points sink is huge and i did not believe it was tactically viable to have a 600+ point sink with a vulnerability of movement for a purely assault dedicated force.

If people feel that it should be included i can have it ready for the next review.
