You've still got the command platoon having twice the transport capacity it needs, which seems out of whack with the other IG lists with no real justification.

Warhounds don't seem to have the singleton surcharge that's standard nowadays.

Is there any reason the SHT company can only take Baneblades, and not Shadowswords as well?

From a personal point of view, I'm not too fond of the the armoured sentinel support formation name, especially as you're losing the ork hunters rule for competitive play. Maybe something like Anti Armour Sentinel formation?

I'm still not sure about the massive carrying capacity of the leviathan.

Edit: goddamn doublepost.

@Transports: Explained at length above.

@Warhounds: Not checked if the surcharge isn't only for Space Marines.

@SHT: Shadowswords energy coils are build off-world and replacements are scarce. So you can't field whole Companies of them only single tanks. Stormswords are Shadwoswords with destroyed main gun which is replaced with something more available.

@Sentinels: Well it's the formation's name. And the Steel Legion has a long Ork hunting history.

@Leviathan: Well Chroma has his own version of the Leviathan. We have to find some agreement.

The "Stompa Hunters" formation name definitely feels daft.

Compared with all the "non-kiddish" names in the rest of the list (xxx platoon, yyy squadron, etc), having a formation named "Stompa Hunters!" sticks out like a sore thumb and looks silly.

Stormsword should have 45cm on its main gun.

Yes, but your explanation basically boils down to something along the lines of "because I want more chimeras" which seems out of whack with every other IG list specifically limiting the number of chimeras to the minimum needed to transport the formation. A Chimera can transport 2 Imperial Guard Fire Support units, so 3 chimeras for the 6 infantry stand formation would maintain parity with all other IG lists.

I agree on the Chimeras thing. Sometimes doing it the 40k way messes too much with game balance.

@Chimeras: A Chimeras transport one single squad. One Fire Support Squad is one unit in Epic. So each Squad gets i'ts own Chimera. Transport vehicles are always one per squad in every Wh40k Codex ever published.
It's not unusual. You can do this with the Chimera uprgade with the rulebook Steel Legion army too.

@Sentinels: The .pdf talks about "As such, the Armoured Sentinel patrols, the so-called ‘Armageddon Stompa Hunters’, were forced to step up to the challenge."
Ok this sounds more like anickname. So i will change tha name to "Armoured Sentinel Patrol". Ok?

@Stormswords range: Will correct that. As well as the Conqueror's Lascannon to-hit value :D

RAW, you can, but most take a queue from the other "official" lists, and take the minimum required for transport.

That was widely accepted as an oversight and has been FAQed out IIRC. As MikeT said the justification seems to be because you want it+it happens in 40k which, IMO, shouldn't override Epic conventions+ the effect on Epic gameplay in an Epic list

So how is the distribution of transport vehicles to infantry squads in real-life?

Appropriate to the amount of infantry that can be carried.

Why leave slots empty on your precious transports??

To take knocked out transports into account? :D

But i see. With such a massive objection against the 1 Squad = 1 Transport Vehicle rule, even if this is backed up through all of Wh40k (rules and fluff) i will change it.
But i think then the Command Platoon's point cost should decrease to 300pts.

Have you playtested the Colossus stats in your list?

Not that i'm aware of.

A fellow gamer playtested an earlier incarnation of this list though.
