Tactical Command :: View topic - The New Death Korps of Krieg Army List

Yeah it's a 'Heavy' Marauder vs just a Marauder that everything else uses.

Historical bit: It's the case the originator was trying to differentiate the FW model from the GW sized stuff. Personally I find it all silly myself. If I was the Guard AC I'd put the kabosh on that and call it good. I don't think they show up too often so it's not been much of a call for/issue though.

I'd pop over to the EEC threads. IIRC the army lists were posted and they had some nice DKoK builds. The centerpiece of that army tends to be a couple of PBI+gorgon deathstars in all cases.

There are some small changes with the ERC that spun out of the NDC suggestions.... And when the Steel Legion changes are finally approved the DKOK are next in line for an overhaul

Some of these "overhauls" tend to wreck people's collections of armies.
I am interested, but not enthused?

I'm sure that's going to be taken into consideration with adjustments. At this point, points costs and stats have to be more viable for change than wholecloth alterations of very established armies.

Besides, doesn't the integrity and balance of the game always come first?

Looking for insight on a 3000 point list to add to my local gauntlet. I am working to get Epic some table time at my LGS, and Im investing into some armies to both test stuff and show people how to play. Can anyone show me a bog standard 3000 point DKoK list? Money isnt an issue. thanks

At the 2017 EEC I ran: Reg HQ + Gorgons 2 x Gorgon cos 2 x Shadowswords Rough Rider 2 x tbolts 2 x single warhounds Won every single game with a warhound on my opponent’s blitz. Only reason there wasn’t more complaints was it was the year Dan took the Thunderhawk armada.

For my money, netea Krieg are currently the strongest army in netea or epic UK. They’re pretty easily fixed though Remove single warhounds as an option from the list Make Gorgons 6+ FF No shadowswords By the far the most needed change is the lost of single warhounds as they basically address all the list’s intended weaknesses
