Can anyone confirm that the Death Corps can't take spacecraft? The stats for spacecraft are listed in both the pdf and on the tournament pack web site, but there is no way to include them in either the support or allies sections of the list(s).

How important is it to have DKoK infantry on long bases. If you have square bases is it possible to squeeze them in behind a gorgon to get the benefits?

They make it a hell of a lot easier to deploy. Essentially you can keep the gorgons in base to base with each other and deploy ten formations either side where all can see and fire. That would be a lot tougher with square bases.

Makes it easier to countercharge and get all the guys out plus negates being able to clip a single gorgon. I.e. You can countercharge, get the gorgons to the front and still get all your infantry out. Of course, the risk is then getting trapped in both gorgons by assaulting enemy so it needs to be played by ear rather than as a hard and fast approach.

How well do earthshakers fair in this game? could I do an "arty and infantry" heavy army, or do I have to atleast have some tanks and be more balanced?

The heart and soul of this list is those Gorgon+Infantry blobs. It'd be interesting to foot slog just gobs of infantry sometime. Not sure how well it'd work out.

not sure where you get that from. Right there on FW's 8th edition codex, page 35

(by awesome chance I had the book open just now-how cool was that? :) )

anyways rest assured that your gorgons are safe and sound and in the blessed arms of the emperor. Do try out a crazy infantry swarm list though. You might be onto something. I'd suggest a VERY heavy AA presence if going that route and do bring the deathstrikes

Deathstikes are for usually larger things like titans? Also yes I plan on having a large AA presence. Thanks for the info I'm going to see if I can make a list soon mostly Infantry/Arty heavy

Deathstrikes are ballistic missiles. DKoK has access to Deathstrike silo

Yes, useful to counter war engines with, Pepper. Got a bit of the nerf recently but that's because you could do some OP "I don't have friends" silliness with them. Still a viable option.

New restriction: Trenches and Razor Wire must be deployed in contiguous segments of at least 20cm in length.
Gun Emplacements may hold one Unit and Bunkers may hold three Units.



Hi guys, quick question. The DKOK version in the TP has Death riders as one attack (first strike) whilst the one at the beginning of this thread has them with 1 normal and +1 First strike. Given this is a huge difference in offence which one is correct? The changes/approval log only mentions deathriders losing scout/gaining walker so is it just a cut/paste error in the TP?
