I've yet to use it in battle but have been planning to when I play Krieg again. At 45cm it seems like a great tank, but at 30 it might be a little underpowered. Break with tradition and give it range 35-40cm??

I need to tap in the typos that have been pointed out in this thread, and barring last minute playtest reports (or a greater uproar against 45cm range Stormsword cannon shots) it'll be declaired finished in days.

Right I've corrected all of Apocolocyntosis's noted typos (Barring the too-narrow column gutters in the datafax pages, which I won't be altering as I just don't have the time).

Does anyone else have any comments before call it done and print?

Only that i still strongly favour the names for certain Death Korps of Krieg formation used in the Vraks books (see posting #3 in this thread).

got a really weird one here...

p35 marauder bomber flavour text. Text is not aligned to baseline grid. Assuming publisher calls it that, your other text tends to align across all columns to a baseline, the text across columns for this entry is, say, 2pt off the baseline in the 2nd column, this is not the case in other entries :-X

Its a shame about the column gutter but i can see it would be time consuming.

*edit* not sure if i mentioned these before but:
p22 DKoK sup com- insane column gutter, for some reason its using the text gutter for the page before it, not the unit entry gutter.

p29, hyphenation on 2nd line of earthquaker flavour text "ar-mies" looks a bit odd, especially as its followed on next line by another hyphernation

Idea for the Stormsword problem: do not allow Stormsword companies. The tank is not a problem when it's a single tank for 200 points. 500 for 9BP IC at 45 cm is bad.

I'm not entirely convinced there is a "Stormsword problem".

Yeah it's a good tank when fielded in companies... but can it lay down 3x TKD3 shots that hit on 2's, or 6x MW shots that hit on 2's (plus a load of AT shots too), or can it match the huge weight in firepower that a Baneblade Company can bring?

In other words, the other SHT's are also good tanks.

Well the Stormsword is supposed to be a battlefield re-fit of an damaged super heavy tank. To restirct them to only 1 tank per formaton and/or only as a formation of a single Stormsword would make sence.

They originated that way. IA:1 states that "it is possible some forge worlds have started to produce them in limited quantities."

Looks like i was looking at the wrong file version for those last 3, so the p35 baseline error is not there, sorry.

So is Seige ready to go, or is there still work to be done? I'm itching to start painting Kreig!

It's done and printed, and the lists locked down for at least a year.
