Predators at 325 for 6 plus heavy support for 150 is 475 kicking out 27 shots. (DA's iron wing is 6 predators for 350)

war hounds are 500 kicking out 12 shots

predators are too cheap in my mind

So is this a no-brainer to take then? Does this 475pts formation out-perform for its points cost?

That's definitely too cheap. I think 6 Predators should cost 375, the same unit price per Predator as normal.

There's pluses and minuses - the larger formation slightly reduces your activation numbers but this is countered by them being much harder to break than normal.

Hey BL, I normally don't look at lists outside EUK, but as someone currently making a large IF force, this list intrigues me... nice work

Viable opinions.
I willstart with 375pts for the Predator formation. If it is too expensive then it will drop top 350pts.
Thunderfitre Defence Battery will increase to 275pts.

I've not forgotten about this list, just been crazy busy and doing a bit of painting for a change, plus limited computer time due to stupid 'work related upper limb disorder' makes it difficult to write the list out, rest assured I'll be getting to it shortly
