Hi!

So far, I didn't encounter with crons, though I heard some of our players battlereport of salamander SM vs Necron.
Since I cannot say much about Living Metal, being over/underpowered, I'll will instead, tell about what I see in the new LM rule.
It has a 4+ Invulnerable save. It makes an equality beetween MW and TK(1) attacks, as they are saved by the same chance, meanwhile MW is more widespread, and inferior.
I know the same issue may come with regular 6+ Invu, but that is lot less likely to happen, also other armies than necron, don't rely on it heavily.
And for that (relying heavily upon a single 4+ invu save), a massive MW salvo, may rip crons apart, while makes no difference against TK(1).
To address this, my "metalcurry" is, to give a 6+ re-roll against MW attacks! That way, each attack will differntiate, and perhaps MW won't be that much dangerous, but still better than the old LM rule where it was completely negated!
So a 4+ Armour save + Living Metal will look like this against different attacks;

AT --> 2x 4+ (normal and invu)
MW --> 4+ and 6+ (both invu)
TK(1) --> 4+
TK(2+) ---> 4+ as many times as TK hits

My standards for approved list. Unless 75% or more asks for change then in my case it's not happening and not worth serious consideration from list maintainer. At ~90% I would be highly likely to change things. This was back when I was running Marines and we were mostly talking about point changes and not major rules of army type.

Good point.

Levels which basically ensure nothing ever changes, especially with the small voting numbers, so problems are never addressed and people get frustrated and discussions get heated or everybody loses interest

Indeed. You are never going to get 90% of people to vote for anything, because they like to vote for "neither, I've got a better idea".

Have been thinking some more on this.

I definitely think you should, regardless of changing the MW part Ulrik, incorporate the part were you actually have to make a save against all hits from TK (2+).
It would feel fairer to the opponent. These are rare weapons so doesn't make a big difference really, but I think ulltrakilly weapons should have scaling up effect.

I'm for changing LM, but more testing and bat reps is required to actually change it.
