Anyone have a solid abatoir option yet? Some sort of floating choppy death ball or something? |

Goddam GW's webstore is so frustrating. I figure that either the current Necron Wraith or Spyder (http://www.games-workshop.com/en-AU/Canoptek-Crawlers) could be good but they don't have a separate price on the wraiths and I suspect the spider is too big... frustrating! |

Here's some stuff I did ... Using bases as one and some little bitz that came Stargate Action figures. And another based on an Exodus Wars Droid Controller ... You can get the Stargate Pyramids on eBay ... With these figures - http://www.ebay.com/itm/1994-Hasbro-Sta ... _464wt_920 Also Crocodile Games makes some nice little bitz too that could work for Necron ... scroll thru ... https://www.crocodilegames.com/store/it ... rowStart=1

I've long been looking at this (and it's variants from the modeler) for use as necon abattoir https://www.shapeways.com/product/43HW2 ... Id=8164769 (not cheap but cool as crap and hey, SG1 was fun) Since the pyramid is available separately as well I was thinking of using just the top of that as a tomb complex and then it kinda ties in together. |

I don't know if anyone has suggested it yet, but the FW scarab bases are pretty dang close looking to the new tomb spiders. And £17/$26 fora pack of 12 isn't a bad deal either. Thoughts or opinions? |

Yes they are very good as proxies. They are also very slightly larger than the plastic one, which is good if you are using those as destroyers |

Hi I'm new to necrons for epic, I've managed to get some ghost arcs, monoliths, infantry etc. I'm wondering if there is anywhere which does the Annihilation Barges, Flyers, Stalkets or Wraiths? I'm also after some scenery type things to me the portal objectives, any ideas? |

For scenery there is some good stuff on shapeways. Unfortunately for the rest you'll have to make your own. I've found you can make some excellent kit bashed proxies using bits from 40k stuff. Particularly the canoptek wraith has some great bits to make a stalker. Borka has a good guide for making them. |

Hi Thanks, I've started a thread where I'll put pics up as I do them. Unfortunatly my conversion skills aren't great so my destroyers look a bit sloppy. Shapeways I've pm'd someone who posted pics with some of their stuff, as I've no idea what sort of material I should be selecting. |
