Got a few questions about the background of unfamilar Necron units Pylons - exist in 40K thanks to Forge World Warbarques, Abattoirs, Obelisks and the Aeonic Orb - where are these from? Were they inventions purely for Raiders? Are they pulled from GW artwork or concepts? |

The abattoir, orb, and obelisks were ok'd by jervis and were originally intended to be released as models (before the plug got pulled on epic) when the SG necron range was released. The war barque came during the raiders development, and was based off of one of the concept sketches that gw made when designing the monolith (those original sketches were actually used again recently by gw to design their latest vehicle releases for the necrons in 40k) |
