I would suggest to give the Night Scythe and Doom Scythe Speed Bomber but let them be able to use orders as if they had Speed Fighter-bomber (at least for the Doom Scythe).
Also Armour 4+ is justfied with armour 11 all around (all aircrafts apart from Thunderhawk have only 10 all around) and Quantum Shields (increases front and side armour to 13 until the first penetrating hit).

the two aircraft dont have quantum shields.

Damn, right. But still armour 11 all around and Living Metal. Should justify at least Armour 5+.

Not Speed Fighter-bomber
Speed Bomber. So that they have only 45° turns even on Intercept and CAP missions. But as Bombers normally can't carry out this orders there should be a note that the Doom Scythe can perform Intercept and CAP missions.

well in v0.1 the doom dose has 5+ ;D ;)

hmmm... well why dont we just make the night a fighter with AA, and the Doom a bomber with a slightly better ground attack then it has already, and maybe 3 to a squad or some thing.?

agree, as i said before we should try to keep the army from being too special rule heavy, better to simplify a bit that make the army too complicated. I know its very tempting to do a very accurate army list, but sometimes its better to be less accurate so the game is more playable and fun. this happened for example with the portal rule, it does not work exactly as in 40k, but it was easier to implement the rule this way.
