Very nice work!

It is amazing what an Ork Horde will do to spruce up your deck :)

So how many Epic armies have you painted up this year?  You should get a picture of Dabigbosses marines in there as well.

Hey all. Thanks for the kind words (and the welcome).

Could you pretty please give an insight into how you painted them and how long it took?
I get asked this question quite a lot. My secret is Woodland Scenics Rock colour pigments (LINK - look under Terrain). I use them as washes on just about everything.

With the Dark Angels I sprayed them with a Flat Medium Green, drybrushed with a light Green, painted all bare metal parts Chainmail Silver and then washed the whole thing with Woodland Scenics Black. Gives a great finish. The tank treads on the Shadowsword are also washed with W.S. Raw Umber for a dirty look.

The Ork machines were sprayed Silver (or left bare if already metal) then washed with W.S. Burnt Umber for a rusty effect. The red was painted on next and finally the whole thing was washed with the W.S. black again.

The Imperial Guard vehicles were sprayed Grey, washed with W.S. Green Undercoat, metal areas painted next and the final wash of Black again for extra detail.

Its a very simple process that gives an effective finish. I'm married with a 2 year old daughter and working fulltime, so it has to be a quick, simple technique or i'd never get them done!

As to how long it takes... I have painted 4 armies since the beginning of the year and am in the middle of finishing off a Storm Lords armies for a mate (dabigboss) and my Guard Vehicles are already half done and I've spent the last hour or so basing my infantry (supplied by Dark Realm Miniatures - great minis!).

Hey Mark_Logue. It took me a while but I finally got here!
I'll let Aaron post his army pics (well I'll wait a little while anyway ?:D ).

Its been a while but I've finally got around to painting up some of my I.G. Infantry. They're mostly from Dark Realm Miniatures (with a bit GW character thrown in).
