My latest painting project. A Sanctum Class Reaver Titan.

Image

I tried some metallic powders to enhance the painting on the mech. I painted it a metallic steel and then brushed on the metallic purple powder.

It is a Jacquard products powder - Voilet. JACU644

I also shaded it with an older paint I have from the old GW Citadel paints range. Amethyst which is a metallic Purple.

The colour scheme used was to both make the Titan stand out, and also look similar to the rest of the Sisters army. Especially as this one built as a Sanctum Class Reaver Titan.

My orks armies. I can move the different formations amongst armies to build the army I need for a game or tournament.

I was looking for some stuff for gaming today at the local games shop, and fouind amongst some of the collected mass of compulsive "on sale" buys and other things for gaming, 2 packs of Starship troopers Brain Bugs. I have been trying to find a proxy for fiends of Slaanesh, and these should with some mucking about with parts from here and thers, make great fiends.

I also have been printing off some defences for my planned Iron Warriors army, and Imperial Fists army. I have printed some rescaled epic Ageas Defence lines. They will need deflashing, and a lot of cleaning up before they are ready to paint, but not bad for rescale down to 6mm for a resing desin used on a PLA printer.

Unless I need more Necrons for a while, I will likely start painting my larger buildings I 3D printed for the up coming tournament to make them look good on the tables I set up.

Some more pics. Just the Gothic Church. I need some more Evergreen Scale modes 90 degree angles from the local hobby store. I have used the .60 spacing Clapboard sheets (4061) and then cut them up, trimmed them to shape and used the panels to cover the roofs of the buildings that need them. The Church, the Stronghold (which needs a little more work), and the commercial building. I am using the 90 degree angles to cover the roof where the clapboard panels join.

More photos when I get the other roofs done, and perhaps start some painting.

I based the Necron display tiles.

They look really nice.

Next I plan to do some painting on the Gothic Church. Off white walls with a reddish brown roof and some steel coloured windows, and where they are there, I will ty to put some images like saints, etc into the stained glass widows.

I an trying to pump out the buildings before CanCon. 2 large and a mid sized one to go. Below are the latest ones I have painted.

I have to flock the base of the last one - not hard. Then I have the Gothic Stronghold, The Gothic Industrial complex, and another mid sized kit, a church from troublemaker games.

The last of the buildings I have painted and based for the tournament. Until I get the 3D printer working again (need to replace the Mosfet board and the wires leading from the femal pug to the hot bed), I will just be cataloguing my current collected armies, and working out what I need for my planned collection.
