Midgettm1's AI/Epic40k WIP Stuff

Hi all! New to the board, but very excited to be here!

I'm currently working on some flyers- all are currently WIP. Decaling/transfers are mostly done, it's down to weathering and panel lines at the moment.

Next is a Warhound Titan and a Shadowsword, and maybe a bomber or two.

Next project on the desk while the Thunderbolt dries- a Warhound! I think I've magnetized everything I want to. i've just got to prep the base and get the legs on there. I'm a little unsure about the waist magnent- it may not be enough to hold the body to the legs, so I may end up pinning it. Otherwise, I'm really looking forward to the project.

The red Lightning is very striking. My only comment is maybe add some "scratches" to the decal using the paint color underneath so it looks like the paint is peeling.

Thanks Dave! I haven’t quite gotten to the weathering for the Lightning, but’ll def sponge some paint chipping on there, excellent idea!

And almost done with the Shadowsword and a Valkyrie! Just need to finish the weathing and basing on the Shadowsword, and then there's still a few details for the Valk.

The shark teeth are great. I've seen those a few times, what company did you go with for them?

Glad you like them Dave! I used Miscellaneous Miniatures P-40 3rd FG American Volunteers decals. I think it comes with 6-8 different designs for the sharks teeth and some airctaft IDs that might be useful as well. I paid a little less than 8 USD shipped for them. They’re of excellent quality and mold to the model detail very easily.

Annnnd just about done with the Shadowsword. Just needs a matte coat, track mud and a base!

Been a while- just a few heavies for my Imperial Guard, and the start of some Space Marine stuff. I really like the way the Macharius is coming along!

I've taken the liberty of adding them to the decal sources thread under modeling.

They fit well on the FW Valks and Vultures, if slightly oversized, but I think they look pretty good. I’m still on the hunt for some similarly scaled Imperial Aquela if anyone has a lead on those, I’d really appreciate it!
