They're just some nylon bristols cut off a cheap scrub brush. I've used toothbrush bristols before, but they're usually clear, and are a little more subtle. The clear ones look good, but are not nearly as resilient as the ones I've used for the Leman Russ and Salamander. I'll probably end up having to replace the toothbrush bristols with the nylon ones at some point as things get man-handled while playing.

And some more progress on a Baneblade. Also completed the Macharius, only need to paint and magnetize a base for it.

And today’s exercise in ridiculously small model painting- an Elysian drop-troop sniper and GHQ SAS jeep. I bought the GHQ models hoping they’d be al little closer to Epic scale, but they just turned out... well... little. Hopefully some creative basing can make them seem a little more-in-scale. I’m hoping to use them as Tauros light assault vehicles.

Yes GHQ does not scale well next to pic models.

It's not only GHQ, all WWII models are smaller or should I say all epic models are quite big ;)

It's unfortunate, but the models themselves are very nice! And I did enjoy painting it!

On to some flyers while I decide what to do with the rest of the Destroyers/Thunderers. Better than average chance the Destroyers are going to end up with camo netting and additional armour. The model I secured a while back are... not awesome, unfortunately. I also managed to wash out the camo with over-zealous weathering. Oh well, I can try again on the next one!

Haven’t made much progress on anything this week. Currently working on some armoured panels for the Destroyer... I’ll probably attempt some zimmerit coating before I basecoat and paint the panels. Also experimenting with adding a camo roll made from a small cut of thin bandage. Hopefully thst’ll look good in this scale!
