The Phoenix are all finished up, I got the highlights done throughout the week and also did the engine exhaust. I added a little bit of blue and white edging on engines themselves, it's not overly noticeable though.

I magnetised the weapons in the Revenant, I need to convert up its Sonic Lances next and get going on the other three.

The second Phantom is mostly together now as well. I just need to add shoulders and finishing magnetising its weapons too.

I started on the objectives with the hopes of finishing them before Cold Wars next weekend. The Wraithgate is all painted up, the others need most of the bone paints still. After something Maashes Caisteal said I spit up my three objectives into four. Now I can just swap out the Wraithgate when needed, rather than having to swap it with one of my opponents.

I also got a few coats of red down on the Avatar. Hoping to have him done for Adepticon.

Pretty excited to see what you do with the Avatar.

Mind sharing your recipe for the stone outcroppings on the objective bases? That came out really nice.

Those started off as Stormvermin Fur, I believe, washed with a watered down dark brown wash. After it dried I drybrushed a couple of times adding in a warm grey or white to the Fur. A few more diluted brown/green/grey washes and a few more light dry brushes involving but not limited to Tyrant Skull, Wrack White and Terminatus Stone eventually got them to where they are.

In short, I didn't write it down.

Love the Eldar and the old titans with them. Reminds me I need to get my hands on a Warlock titan at some point (I have one of the Epic 40,000 era Phantoms).
Are the objectives from Shapeways?

I finished these nearly three weeks ago now, but a lost memory card and card reader kept them from being posted. I stuck with bone colors for the wrathbone and warm greys for the rocks. The windows and globe looking things were a CdA violet color that I had never tried out.

I'd also like to complete some Falcons for the upcoming NEAT, I still need to convert turrets so I just started on the bodies.

Image

I worked on Rangers too, painting orange on these is a real pain. I think for the Guardians I'm going to have to airbrush the orange and carefully drybrush the bases.

Image

I took one stand nearly to completion, the weapons and cloaks need to be finished still.

Those colors are RADIANT, and the structures are just FANTASTIC!!! I find that terrain elements add SO MUCH immersion into the experience.

Thanks guys.

A quick update, I got the orange done on the Rangers. Hoping to tackle the helmets and weapons next week.
