While this isn't a specific scale discussion we lack (currently) a general painting/modeling tips board so I'm sticking it in 6mm as that's the most popular scale here at this time.

I figure it's a good time to probably gather some helpful links for decals out there. We all have some companies we know of so sharing that should be good.

Flames Of War decals are good if you want various army unit ids. Not traditional Gw but right size.
Just need to check each nation and choose what you like.

Dust Tactics have some pretty boss nose art / unit bling decals. Seems to be especially good on FW flyers. Plan on trying some out

For 10mm to 28mm Ancients and Medieval, but a good source for banners and transfers for Titans and larger vehicles.

Very specific, but found these after some searching and thought they would be useful for anyone else doing 6mm Great Crusade or Horus Heresy for Warhammer.

This one is for Sons of Horus but you can search 'bell of lost souls (legion name) decals PDF
http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2007/01/sons-of-horus-pre-heresy-logo-sheet.html

The bottom-most couple of lines are perfect scale for 6mm vehicles. I print them onto white decal paper, couple of sprays of varnish on top to seal them and they are good to go.

SquatWarlord, those links for custom printing are way useful. I doubt most people have 4 color printers.

This part of the painting series shows how to leverage decal solutions to properly bind them.

I would like to keep this thread dedicated to decal sources, not techniques so we'll consider the existing content here good enough.
