@Axel: it's less of an issue in person, but still a little bit of a problem. At tabletop level this army will be somewhat weird to look at.

@Dave: oh, I'll have plenty of "fun." And I didn't do any framework lines beforehand for this one, just painstakingly drew out each diamond. For the next one I'll probably experiment with starting with a grid and filling in the spaces to see if that speeds things up at all.

Oh, very nice. You really have got your work cut out! You could try out the Harlequins list if you wanted to make proper use of those diamonds.

@elsemore01: I'll probably eventually try out the Harlequin list, but as someone who's still pretty new to Epic I'll be sticking to the simpler (and more varied) Biel-Tan list for now.
@Ginger: just how much bribing will it take to get Revenants into the Harlies list? Because I might happen to have an interesting conversion waiting in the wings...

Some more updates here. First Ranger unit is painted, but without pictures. I do have quite a few conversions at varying stages of completion though.

Guardians are fairly straightforward mix of Eldar Guardians and some metal DE models. Weapon platforms were fun to make though

I'm fast approaching a 1K Biel-Tan list. Only 2 more Falcons to do, as well as a chance I'll go back and redo some of the Rangers' cloaks.

Here's what I've gotten done since the last update:

Falcons #2-3. On these I learned that the sizes of the diamonds are very important for the overall look. On #2 they're too small, and on #3 they're too big. #1 was juuuust right apparently.



Scorpion. Really like how this one came out, even if some of the diamonds are a little uneven.
