So. I'm quite lazy with armies. I have a victrix napoleonic army I bought when they first release their waterloo boxes.... somewhere. I have a marine army I bought about 3 years ago. Managed to get 1 squad painted. Yet GW's specialist games have always had a place in my heart - and my paint table. BFG? Despite burning out on it after years of doing the army builder files for the game whenever I picked up a new fleet it was painted up quickly. Epic? Even though I had a dose of retarded and decided to do howling griffons I hammered them out in record time (for me anyway). SO - to my preferred army in warhammer world - the IG. I play valhallans in 40k, with a metric shittonne of bodies and occaisionally a chimera. Regardless of it's effectiveness in Epic, I'm going to play the same goddamn list. Picked up the first sprue of valhallans from the post office today and did a trial model. Will hold off painting more straight away as they may require some duplication. Sorry - pics are a bit big so i've linked them instead http://imgur.com/99NJvd4 http://imgur.com/BZyIUXi |

He looks sweet dude With regards to painting I have much the same experience. I'd never fielded a force bigger than a BB team fully painted by me in any scale (even BFG I have to admit...). Until Epic. I love the fact that with 6mm it's units that people usually see not groups of individual models so your infantry units can happily hide the odd minor painting misdemeanor if necessary without ruining the unit like it would in 40k or WFB. In the 6 months or so we've been playing epic I've managed to paint about 3500 pts of guard, 2500 pts of necrons and 1500 points of marines and still going strong Sent from my 4027X using Tapatalk |

I can only speak for their Colonial British range but they are fantastic. I swear every man even has a mustache that I just don't have the ability to paint... Sent from my 4027X using Tapatalk |

I'm looking forward to it. Just takes a long time for them to arrive what with having to waiting for them to be casted per order and all that. And I'm still not sure on the paint scheme I'm gonna go with. Might just go generic brownish color, with black and silver guns, and maybe grey hats/helmets. |

Soooo.... I didn't get much stuff done over the last couple of weeks. This is due to my painting desk also housing my PC (and games), being unwell, and just general laziness. Also this happened. Still tinymens, but not epic. http://i.imgur.com/cQrp0cj.jpg Then today my tanks turned up. http://i.imgur.com/2pPqts6.jpg I've ordered some of the Scorpion IFVs from Darkest Star Games - happy with the size and the sculpts (though they're pretty basic). The cost of post was a bit much - specially given the condition the mini's are in when they got here: Thrown into a ziplock bag with a little bit of scrunched up newspaper for packaging. Anyhu - pick of a tank, and the 40k version of same. http://i.imgur.com/bKrKIC5.jpg http://i.imgur.com/BDG6XA9.jpg |

Or you could post thumbnail images in the thread, with links through to the full-size versions. Nice job on the guardsmen; looking good! |
