Ok so after one to many comments that the Ground zero Games 6mm NAC troopers looked a little like Mega City judges I could no longer resist.
I just had to do Judge Dredd in 6mm ;D

This thread will chronicle my efforts to bring "The Law" to both Junkertown and the neighbouring comunity of Cherryblossom Heights.

Here's what I've got so far.

Image

So we have from left to right Judge Cassandra Anderson, Judge Dredd and Judge Giant and in the back Dredd on his Lawmaster bike.

I've since found two more of the bikes in my bits box so Anderson and Giant should get their rides too, after that I have a few ideas for some more vehicles but then things will probably be on hold until Microworld releases their new Microwasteland line, we'll see...

Oh and for those of you unfamiliar with both Junkertown or Cherryblossom Heights here's a few pictures of our intrepid hero's beat

Image

Image

YOU THERE!!! Senior citzen! Jay walking! Five years cryo-cell! Effective immediately! Please await pickup.

Image

Thats it for now, stay tuned for more...

Ps: Does anybody have a recomendation for rules that handle street chases well?

Cheers,
Stroezie.

Really cool. Paint job is top notch, and the bike is great.

I have been looking for Dredd stand in figures for while now- been wanting to build some stuff from the apocalypse war, I have some Citi-Def guys that have been waiting for just the right minis to come along! Will be ordering some of these asap!

The bikes are Exodus Wars Guild Prefect Rapid Response models
Now available here https://hlsmodels.com/collections/exodu ... nse-patrol
I just filed of some parts from the back and a little from the front to make them blockier and then did a head + shoulders swap on the rider.
Btw. I would LOVE to see your take on the Apocalypse Wars, be sure to post some pictures of them.

Very Nice Indeed ! That Biker from Exodus is a nice piece, I have a bunch to paint up still. I use those NAC as Hammer's Slammers ... And those 'bots from CinC SEM ... :spin

Well I got some of the exelent Microworld Wasteland minis for christmas so I can finally continue with this project.

I decided to finish my judges first, I made a fourth judge and then converted three more bikes so they would all have rides.

Here's a pic

Image

And a little preview of whats to come

That's it for now, more to come as I paint them.
I'm also still looking for a good car chase rule set for this so if you know of any good ones let me know.

As a lot of people have asked about the size of the wasteland figures vs other 6mm miniature lines I thought I'd take a quick size comparison picture.

The judges are all GZG miniatures(1 standard,3 headswaps) and the figure on the far right is from Angel Barracs.
Image

As you can see there's a few real big boys in there but overall I'd say they size up pretty well imo.
The real big ones are mainly from the first 2 sets of wasteland warriors the later sets tend to be a bit smaller.
I don't really mind actually because hey, who knows what kind of strange mutated freaks roam the wastelands 8)

Love it, Massive fan of 2000ad as used to read it as a kid, always liked dread, not as much as Nemesis the warlock though ;D but a close second. Great theme and good use of minatures. Also glad to find i am not the only one who get side tracked by other projects and then goes full on out with them ;D

Very cool keep up the great work :)

I've painted a few of the more punk style warriors.
They are great sculpts with lots of detail, altough I must admit they can be a bit intimidating to start on.

Image

Image

As I was painting them I suddenly remembered I had an Angel Barracks mini that was perfect for this project and here he is to.

Hold it right there perp!

Image

That's all I've got painted for now.

I think I will use these for a test game of the TwoHourWargame Chain Reaction rules as I am thinking of getting the Urban Renewal, New hope City P.I. and Machinas rules to cobble something together that will let me capture the Judge Dredd Case Files feeling.

I will do my utmost best to give you an AAR of that but with my (non existent) AAR track record I ain't promising anything.

Stay safe citizens and remember OBEY THE LAW!

Cheers,
Stroezie.
