Those Salamanders are awesome. Might be making an order for 4-8 of them sometime soon :)

Track detail looks soft...

They are on Ebay as well. You might try an email and some haggling?

I didn't know about these, and I live here.

Then again, I don't get to the hobby shops here much.

I just received my order. I think the casts are not white metal and the detail is pretty soft. Also My chimera was a partial miscast. I can post pics.

Seen them on eBay and another facebook Epic site ... Guess GW really can't do anything legally ... or don't care ... So for those that need those models, I say go for it ! 8)

A few pics. The casts look like made of tin :p I know they aren't but the softness in details makes the feel.

Infantry is also shiny and soft in details, but I like them

I thought that to much lead makes them shiny, tin is more dull. they should add antimony or bismuth to get better details

Fibs: yes I think it is lead that makes it. I mentioned "tin" just because when I saw the minis I got the same feeling than with new years tin :P

Lead it is

and...yes not otterware

I've got some of their Chimeras, Hellhounds and Basilisks and I haven't found any major issues. They aren't the sharpest casts but they're not bad and they are nice sculpts.

Sadly, I suspect it's only a matter of time before they get stomped on by GW's legal department.
