Thanks everyone! I've been having a blast with all the converting and modeling for this army. I've gone for an overall feel for the antiquated armor being corrupted over time by chaos and disease. The heresy armor has been a small fun detail to include and I'm especially happy with how the vehicles and war engines have come out showing their slowly increasing meld of machine/corruption/demons.

Up next will be plague towers for NEAT in June along with some terrain projects I'm working on for the tournament as well.

After much delay, here's the plague tower I brought to NEAT in June:

More recently, I started work on a Grey Knights force. This was my first stand - I wanted to try a few new techniques for myself and work out a color scheme I was happy with. A primary goal was to make the armor stand out separately from mechanical parts. The idea was to include some blue in the coloring for that "silver" effect, but to make it a little more subtle to where it still kept true to a silverish grey amd not just a bold blue shade. I'm pretty happy with how this nemesis dreadknights came out, but of course, C&C are always welcome!

That the Breacher model right? Could I share it on Vanguard Miniatures' unofficial Instagram?

Like the stompy fuuuk sh!t up pose.

So following your recipe here, silver paint + blue ink or silver THEN blue

Thanks! Wanted to give it a nice dynamic pose. The models are base coated black, then:

For the mechanical parts:
Leadbelcher
shaded with a 1:1 mix of army painter strong and dark shade.
I'll probably dry brush it just to bring the edges back up.

The armor panels was:
Leadbelcher
Silver
Blue Glaze
Army Painter Soft Shade with a little water to soften the amount of blue.

interesting. I would have guessed that you have started with silver, brought it up to 11, and then beat it back down. Neat effect.

Nice paint work :)

How tall is the old Plague Tower model out of curiosity? A recent Black Library novel had a battle where a daemon army summoned 7 of them and each were twice the height of a Reaver Titan. I didn't think the old models were that big but maybe I misremembered?

Whew, that'd be a massive model. The scale holds up better than that. It's just over the height of the old FW reaver. Here's a pic for comparison:
