Yeah, they fit so well, if there was a 40k TV show, they would have to do the score!

Thanks! But dont be silly, Your work is excellent, and your titans outshine my feeble attempts any day!

Not sure what to dig into next. Finished up some fantasy that had been sitting around for too long, and started on some of the new skinner plastics, but quickly lost interest. Think I might try and cram some epic units out over the next few weeks, as too justify some new ordering! ;D

Not to completely derail the whole damn thread into black metaldom, but I just bought the new album and think it's pretty damn good, despite the stylistic change. What're your thoughts on it?

I think its excellent! I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered, I ordered a ton of bits from season of mist but its all been delayed, so I'm still waiting for my physical copy, as well as all my other goodies, but I couldn't wait and got my download of the album, and I've not stopped playing it since! Its probably my 2nd or maybe 3rd favourite release from them. While other albums have been very hypnotic, this one has a more melodic feel too it, but with a very, very dark atmosphere too it, which is excellent, it gives me the same sort of feeling I got way back in the 90s from other bands. Production is top notch, nothing is too low or too high in the mix.

I know its gotten some flack for daring to be different, but then I've never been very conventional with my BM tastes, my favourite full length release from mayhem is 'grand declaration of war' after all, which gets way more negative attention then any other band/album!

Also sorry for derailing! Dont often get too talk music!

Cheers lads.

Finished these up last night, just haven't decided on what basing scheme I'm going to do. Either Red mars, Orange mars or Urban grey. Red mars is expensive but looks great, orange mars is the budget version of Red mars looks ok and is cheap but doesn't have that snap that red does, and Urban grey is cheap, easy but nearly everything I paint is based in grey.

Parasite Engine: (Might have shared before, I painted a while back)

I also started rebasing my Orks on to long bases. I've also change the basing material I use. The warboss has the old sand mix on but the boys have my brand new quick, easy and ridiculously cheap basing material.

Long time, no post!

Hmm, my lasts post seem to have had the images break the forum. I started using Imgur since the photobucket incident, but for some reasons, my last few posts have are now displaying larger photos then what I recall posting originally. If it's an issue, I will look into it and make the corrections.

--------------------------

I've made the change recently to now also include 6mm sci-fi/epic on my 6mm fantasy blog. I'd gone over a year with out posting anything on there (a mix of having the busiest year at since returning to school, other projects and just not cracking on with painting my mountain of 6mm fantasy!) This way I can continue blogging in-between fantasy projects, as well as having some where I can post my epic stuff with out needing a dedicated epic blog.

I decided to have a crack at posting some tutorials. If it proves popular enough, I'd like to do a lot more in the future, both for 6mm fantasy and for Epic (If only because it's a good excuse to paint more minis from more ranges!)

The first one is for microworld dwarf berserkers. I have to cover the basing in a later post (as I like to base my fantasy in bulk and I still have a couple of dwarf units to paint up before then) but I might do one for my Emperors Children scheme after that (as I'm trying to paint through a big batch as an excuse to order some more!)

I put together another painting guide, this time for my 30k loyalist Emperors children scheme, using Vanguard miniatures Novan elites.
