Hi, i picked up a Star Wars Risk today but what am i going to use the pieces for?

I was thinking land speeder for the tanks and Robots/Dred/Dred knight for the Battle droids but what about the Clone Troopers and Clone Tank Vehicles??
Clone Trooper = some huge type of Dark Trooper+ counts as a Dred or base of Terminators?
Clone Tank= fit a larger weapon barrel and count as some kind of ad-mech version of a robot gun??

What do you think?

I've notice some games have some nice models that could work for Epic. Just have to look around and think out of the "GW" Box ! ;D

clone tank might make a good vehicle for elysian drop troops, tauros/venatot. Clone trooper doesn't look so useful to me … wraithlord maybe?

At the end of the day I think you need to be happy with it.

Personally I don't think the quality of these models (do they bend easy?) is good enough for them to be used in my own army. Though as a proxy the limit is exactly the limit of your imagination, no reason why any of those can't be any of the things you mentioned.

I am not sure what the tournament scene would make of it, though I suppose as with all proxies you just need to make it clear what everything represents...maybe someone else can wade in on that argument.

I`m not remotely bothered about Tournaments and even if i was i have plenty of other armies -this stuff is to sit along side my AT-AT`s and Snow scheme sand crawlers etc-its a Star Wars themed army so none of it conforms to the 40k setting.

I have the same miniatures and think with a clean paint job the vehicles will do the job just fine. :)

Personally don't think the droid and clone trooper are really usable though.
