Started work on bulking up the leg plate for the infantry bastions. This is the framework on to which a thin plastic sheet will be stuck to gain the curved armour look.

These are fan sculpts much like the other heresy models you see around these parts and are not on sale or available to the public unfortunately which is a great shame as they are wonderful models.

Update on the imperator time. Actually had some free time today so had a good go on the castle section.

Wondered how to do the crenulations and in what style for awhile then when I was tinkering with my mega wall modules the other day it occured to me that the decorative pieces I had done for that if down scaled would probably make great crenulations. So Paul to the rescue this time round as I commissioned him to cut several of the strips shown from the same acrylic as I had the bases done in.

Two layered and with a small guage strip plastic shelf all round it didn't come out at all bad, still needs tidying up in a few areas but overall i'm well pleased with the look.

And I thought I had the last liquid ancient pot of blood red :D Seriously baffling project this. Are you absolutely certain that you are going to go through with the rest of it? I fear it will impact world markets for plastic sheet.

Yes that pot of red is still going strong after all these years.

This thing will be finished for sure even if I have to buy up all the plastic sheet on the planet. ;)

Moredakka, what are the dimensions of those Terminator bases? Think I might do something similar with mine, but still just 5 dudes.
