that army shot looks incredible! be a sight to see from across the table all deployed, how big does your group play?

Really shows just how much work you have put into this army......i have serious VIIth envy

Always nice to hear from a fellow brother of the VIIth legion! appreciate the nice comments, thanks for looking!

We only play 3/4k normally although we usually have a big smash up game a couple of times a year :) I'm currently writing up a scenario for the campaign weekend in september where I'm hoping I can get as much of my IF on the table at one time as possible! :)

This army was originally only meant to be a 3k force I could take for a bit of variety and it's turned into a labour of love.... your army will inevitably turn out the same, there is always another formation to add!!

That's exactly what happened with my Orks mate....

Loving the family shot btw, great cohesive looking force :)

Time for a break from the yellow dudes, MikeT let me loose with his airbrush today, the main intention was to basecoat my eldar forces, which was mostly accomplished, but having watched a load of youtube videos about airbrushing I decided to attempt some techniques on my centrepiece warlock titan....

Image

I think he turned out pretty well for a first attempt having never used an airbrush before! Obviously the head and psycannon will be repainted to match the Mymeara style, and all the arnour detailing needs to be done.... but I was seriously impressed with what you can do with an airbrush! Now I know what I want santa to bring me ;)

Not too many actually (the joy of airbrushes I guess!)

1.prime model white
2.airbrush entire model P3 coal black
3.apply vallejo model air white from ~45 degrees so it hits the top of the model
4.coat entire model with P3 meredius blue,
5.spray wings and top of the model with P3 iosan green
6.hit wingtips and top of the model with P3 necrotite green
7.hit the top of the head and shoulders with P3 arcane blue

Probably ~30 mins total

=Drool=

That's ideally what I'd like mine to look like.

Promising start. The joy of airbrushing - instant blending :)
