Nice Manchu. You may want to try to bend those barrels back parallel to each other, though.

Here are more of the blood angels i've been working on.

Image
Classic blood angel devastators marked by their blue helms, i have rhinos for these that are almost finished with blue panels and doors.

Image

Image
Classic assault troops with yellow helms, i'm not a fan of the new all gold assault troopers.

Image
Termies.

Image
Dreads.

Image
The completed death company, because what death company is complete without a dreadnaught to go muck some face up.

More to come.

First off i'd like to say feedback is very welcome, any tips to help my miniatures look better.

Second i'm not exactly sure if i'm happy with the basing of the blood angels, the ash world i like and the colors work but im not sure if it's enough diversity and i can't really add static grass to the base because it's an ash world.

For the gargant i know the body doesn't look complete... that's because it isn't i hate the body i've made it 4 times and am never happy with it. But am very happy with the head, smoke stacks and arms.

P.S. i never thought a new camera to get the detail better would be bad, the mini's look way better in person as the camera picks up the colors differently and makes them seem fake or forced i dano but not as good as in person.

Like the Blood Angels. :)

Tip:
Try lightly edge-highlighting at least the rhinos' black sections with Codex grey - if you feel crazy you could do the Death Company infantry too(although I'm not sure you haven't already as the lighting makes it hard to tell). If you find it too bright go over it with GW black wash once to tone it down. I use a simple 00 brush for my edge highlights and run the side of the bristles (not the tip) along the sharp corners etc

just my 2c

To further add to Dobbsy's comment. Instead of Codex Grey, you can use Shadow Grey (or Sombre Grey if you use Vallejo) to highlight black edges. For red edges, I would recommend adding a little light brown (like Vermin Brown) and/or skin colours to your original red. In that way, your red does not build up to white or blaring yellows.

Otherwise, I like your models a lot. A lot of detail work going into these, and with just a little extra finishing touch, you could make them really pop. The kustom gargant looks great, too. Keep up the good work!

Fredmans is right. Shadow is a bluey colour so the black will end up a nice warm blue-black. if you want cold, stark black highlights codex is your colour. ;)
