Nice! Thats more or less what I think I set out to accomplish. Minus the orky exterior. Are those available as models?

Thanks. This is my first attempt at blogging the hobby, and I find all comments helpful and motivating. I just realized that that for the moment, the other stuff (boat renovation project, non-gaming social activities, oh - and work) has the upper hand. I hope to get back to complete my little Landa-project soon, though!

Pretty happy with it now. Was going to add vertical landing thrusters on the "belly", but I think I'll skip that.

Yepp, now it is :) Or, at least it is round, no matter what angle of attack is used. Very new to this forum. As I've been snooping around I have come to realize that the quality of the mini-work is astonishing in many cases. I would never have thought that such an old and poorly treated game would attract such talent and energy! Fantastic. A bit weird. But mainly fantastic.

Poor treatment (and a loyal fanbase) is key. We won't get any official support, so we create our own. Sadly (at least for what it says about GW) it is arguably better than the official support ever was.

Quoted for truth.

I must admit, it's taken this scratchbuild to make me realise Landa's don't have to be long shuttle type things.

Now, I wonder if I can build one to carry my entire 28mm ork army...

Introducing.... *drumroll* The Ball of Mork!!! Or was it Gork? I forget. Weather has been crap so the boat has not been in focus lately. Anyway, the same base design with a few modifications. Closed hatch, "heavy shoota firing balconies". I thought it nice to have two similar designs as I think I might need two Landas. Doh! Picture limit 3 max, I gather? Three to begin with, as crappy as always :)
