The model itself. It really looks like someone thought it would be cool to have a guy in body armor driving a Gator. The hood in particular is almost a direct copy.

Well, I sculpted it and until you posted your pic I'd never even heard of a Gator. So no, it's not a direct copy. It's just a generic six-wheeled utility/flat bed type vehicle. Don't like it? No problem! Just don't buy it.

I'm sure others will.

Sorry, no offense meant. I actually do like the remainder of the line, that one is the 'off' one, IMO. I'm kinda surprised it's not a copy; the resemblence is uncanny. But I guess there are only so many ways to do a 6x6.

Ooh, awkward moment! :o

Look upon the example of David Niven, one of the sharpest wits to ever grace Hollywood. At a formal event, Niven stood chatting with a gentleman he did not know when two women descended the steps before them. Niven muttered, "Oh dear, that is the most hideous woman I've ever seen."

The man he was with exclaimed, "Good man, that is my wife!"

Niven, always quick on his feet, covered himself quickly with "I meant the other woman."

The man replied, "That's my daughter!"

Niven looked boldly into the man's eyes and told him, "I never said it."

No panic, mate, I don't take offense over miniatures! ;D Whenever I sculpt anything, some people will like it and some will hate it - and the other 90% just won't care... so, so long as the bloke who commissioned it is happy, I don't worry about it.

And I'd agree with you, it's definitely my least favourite of the bunch - I'm much more of a tank man! But I reckon a decent-sized gun and gunner in the back will make it look a lot nicer. Just hope no-one paints them green and yellow.... ;)

Reaper,

as the one who commissionned it, I am quite happy with the 6X6 and as you said some will like it some wont, thats OK, this is the idea behind the SEM range, to offer what is missing, and probably no one will like the whole range , so they can pick and choose.

I m sure that some gamer wont like the following releases and some will like it.

This is life. Just hope you will continue to use your outstanding sculpting skill to complete this range since I still have quite a lot of idea of races I would like to see being offered to our communauty, and by the way, fellow gamer, fell free to post your suggestions.

2011 is pretty much complete but I am planning for 2012, if Michael continue to supply me with those outstanding greens

Regards

And now come cats!

http://www.pfc-cinc.com/catalog/item/80 ... 046669.htm

Also some seriously nice emplaced weapons as well including MRL and a dual Particle Cannon mount that would be useful for converting the Epic Tau Skyrays into alternate Hammerheads.

PFC has told me that the production molds for the Raptors and Ha-Lu-Ki are done and will be up on their website shortly with a few other items. They will than start on the SEM Air Assault, the imperial court including the imperial knights and engineers.

Next year I hope to release civilians that Michael Lovejoy has sculpted for me and the human servants of the Ha-Lu-Ki (robed figures with a symbiot attached to their back). Michael, as usual as done an outstanding job on these.

I just got the robots, heavy walkers, and 6x6 trucks. All are very nice. I've been looking at these for quite awhile now and finally decided to purchase. I am very happy with the models. Very nice, very little flash, clean sculpts!!!

I'll be ordering 1 each of SEM Infantry before Xmas.

The next release will have 2 more Walker versions, one, called Avenger has 4 PPC guns (think smaller version of Battletech Rifleman) the other one is a loader version of the same chassis but with 2 grappling arms (similar to the contraption driven by Ripley in Aliens) and a back mounted crane. This model can be used by civilians or by SEM Engineer Corp.
