Well, I feel that since the Exodites are pretty much knights, that they should probably be done in a clean bight scheme themselves to contrast with the more natural/drab colours of the beasts. Something like a white with coloured details (helmets, sashes, banners, etc) perhaps? Or even silvered armour?

Actually, now I think about it, somebody else had a WH40k Exodites project that might inspire: Stephane

I love the paint job on the dino. Very ambitious, and so are your conversions. Will follow this project closely. Good luck,

Fredmans

Very nice conversions! I think it might be a good idea to add a bit more contrast to the models rather than just brown on brown. Some green on the rider would help alot. Although painting the base obviously also helps to bring the model to life.

Next time I'd like a proper game, you chump! ;)

I am going to fall just short of my first ToEG target. 85% of the job is complete, but after 9 attempts I have utterly failed to find an agreeable scheme for the dudes riding the dinos. Still, it's a learning process, and I know what definitely doesn't work. Maybe I should have stuck with Ultramarines for a first army! *Sad face*

You can do it!! Just go for the bloody red / dark red / ivory ffs!!

Aw, don't give up now – those are some cool little models you have there. :)
Push on through with the current scheme; I've often found that looking at a paintscheme in a group gives a different effect to considering them individually.

If you have some old cavalry models for epic, why not try out a few schemes? Things always look different when you consider the whole model together with the base.

I've photoshopped something along the lines I suggested earlier for you to see what I mean:
