First question:  Is that a Predator on the left?  I bought these from a guy off TMP and I am not enough of an expert on older Space Marines models to know for sure.  Note: the tube on the left side of the turret is plasticard and not part of the original model.

Now:

These are my test subjects for my Space Marines.  So far they are based in Vallejo Game Color Steel Grey, highlighted with VGK Orange Fire, then glazed with a blue/brown ink mix.  After that I brought the orange back up. They still have a long way to go.

These are also my first 6mm models ever.  Its not too radically different than painting 28mm, but Im not trying to be perfect on them.

Once all the models have the blue and orange on them, I'll go back with blue and clean up orange excess.  I'll then pick out more details in black, drybrush some silver where appropriate, hit them all with the blue/brown glaze, then bring the orange back up and highlight edges with the steel grey again.

Oi.  Thats a lot of work :)

This is a 1st edition rhino with a third edition lascannon sponson stuck on the top to make it look like a razorback. The tube is probably a bit of sprue imitating a hunter killer missile.

Oh my!  I did note that the chassis was the Rhino chassis, and that the turret looked an awful lot like the lascannon sponsons on the sides of the Land Raiders.

Razorback, eh?  LOL now I get to go rename all my Photobucket links :)
