Love what you've done with the old school knights and falcons

Those are some sexy super-heavies. Was glueing the back wings on as painful for you as it was for me? There's barely any contact points for the glue on them.

It was really painful for my first 5 super heavy grav tanks. But for these 3, the experience earned has been useful. Not only there is a really small surface of contact, but the metal use is really smooth and the superglue is not so "super" on it.

So my method is pinning with 0,5mm (yes, it IS painful) and using a small pellet of greenstuff underneath to harden the assembly.

Hey Flogus,

First up, lovely looking Eldar you've got coming together here.

Secondly, how have you based/mounted the skimmer tanks?

Looks very effective and would be interested to know what you've used...

Cheers
Reedar

I use round bases, custom made from Litko Aero or handmade from polystyren sheet.
The stem is from a bag of GW "flight stands", cutted and trimed with a electrical mini-driller equiped with a grinding wheel to fit the hole drilled on the back of the grav tank.

The "grass" is made with a small thickness of the foam in miniatures blisters. And the texture all around is a refilling paste, a kind of plaster.

I'll make step by steps pictures the next time.
