Just finished this up today and I'm much happier with the highlights. Decided to give a power weapon a shot. I'd have preferred to do a different type, but the holes in the middle of the sword kind of killed the possibility of something that looked more like a central glow. Hope you like it!

Highlights are great on the new knight. Power sword effect also turned out well, the glow from the tip looks great (especially from the angle of the bottom-right picture). The dust on the feet is also a nice touch

So I'm going a bit slower now that I'm starting on full units. The first up was a Paladin Banner (dumb name). For these guys I'm noting the Seneschal with the black armor on the top of the carapace. I'd planned to do some errants next, but I need a break from some of the more fiddly armor bits on the paladins so it's Lancers instead. Hope you like them!

Beautiful paintjob, but is it just me or has the print job been a bit crude compared to what's possible nowadays? Looks like it has been printed at shapeways or something.

I was wondering that myself. I cleaned up the shoulders on the carapace and the shins because I was afraid the striations would kill the freehand, but it did seem a bit rough. The Caerstus ones I have and some of the other paladin chassis ones are much cleaner.

Yes i can see the print through the paintwork, but still stunning as always on the paintwork vaaish ;)
