As per the Epic-UK website the rules in use are those on the GW website. Print those and bring them by all means.

Though the number of times section 1-4 are actually referenced during games are pretty low. At Britcon I can only really remember 3 or 4 rules questions.

I still have to look at if its at half or below half when working out points in draws... which is loony considering the number of draws I've had :)

no worries; as you say these things come up rarely enough that it's of little practical consideration.
n theevertheless current discussion on air assaults does act as a good example!
hoping to make an Euk event soon!

Page 48, in the notes, the last answer miss the "IF" :
Quote:
A: In general, treat this as if the unloading formation is starting a move in enemy ZoC. They are already Engaging the target formation, so that requirement is met. The other requirement is that they must attempt to move out of the enemy ZoC. Keep in mind that as enemy units are contacted, they lose their Zone of Control.
If the dismounting troops enter a target's ZoC, they must attempt to reach base contact with that unit, per the charge rules.
If the dismounting troops can move out of all enemy ZoC (avoiding the target's ZoC entirely and escaping the screening ZoC), they may choose to do so instead of charging to base contact.
If the dismounting troops cannot escape all enemy Zones of Control, they must attempt to reach base contact with the target formation.

This entry was correct in the army list compendium.

5.12 (p.83), Daemonic Assault Engines. On weapons "Daemons Blades/Spikes", the firepower value saysAssault Weapons EA, should be Assault Weapons EA (+D3).

6.10 Speed Freeks Army List

The Speed Freeks formation says: "One Nobz, four Boyz and four Trukkz", should be three Boyz.

Death Korps of Krieg army list, small copy-paste bug at

Tank Platoon, for 280 points, it has the SAME wording and thus give the SAME number of units as the Tank Squadron upgrade (+140).
If I'm correct Tank Platoon should give 6 Leman Russes instead of 3.

4.2.4 Flak attacks

The book clearly says if "Flak units in a formation which have taken a move action during the turn fire with a -1 to hit modifier during the end phase."
I assume it is for the disengagement move.

In the F.A.Q. there is the first question
Q: Does the movement has effect on flak? Eg. If I double a unit with AA do I get a -1 to hit?
The answer is opposite of what the rule above states.
A: No modifiers for movement. It's just a free attack. The only formations statuses that affects flak fire are marching or being broken , which negate the attack entirely.

The F.A.Q. actually is correct but it is restricted half the story as moving does not give -1 when shooting on an aircraft approach move (as it is happens in the Action phase) but IT DOES if it is against aircraft disengaging move (which is happening in the End phase)
keeping in mind that one flak unit may attack one air formation per turn and all other stuff like marching, broken etc.

How are the rules changed compared to the downloadable Rulebook from GW beside the army lists? I need to know because maybe I'll introduce this in my gaming group.

Good Work so far!
