Thanks Meph. Don't know if it found its way to you, but if you guys would like a "rules compendium" (the TP gutted of the NetEA forces/lists) let me know.

All our favourite German TacCommers seem to post on it, so I have just gone ahead and changed the link. If someone pops up here to say it's wrong I can always change it again.

The menu links to the different sections of the website seem to have disappeared from the front page. I can only access the rules, game aids etc. pages by typing them in manually now, although the tournament pack is still available by way of the NetEA News box on the right. Is this a problem for anyone else?

yeah I get that too from time to time on the homepage. Basically you got the site and it immediately redirects to a spam site.

I see this occasionally too. Maybe one in 20 times visiting the site homepage (e.g. never when opening the tournament pack rules directly) and usually only after a reboot or restarting my browser.

Something somewhere has been compromised.

You mainly can just disable redirects. It's not so much a compromise as this problem has something to do with third-party ad networks that run auto-redirecting ads on the sites and apps. These are notoriously hard for the publishers to detect and block because advertisers sometimes change their ads’ behavior after they’ve been approved and frankly, they don't give enough of a crap to do anything about it. It's a serious issue with mobile but can effect desktop versions as well.

might want to play with your security settings. some details on various browsers
