Three to be exact. I'm jhaving the rest of my summer holiday. This means I'll be here very infrequently if at all.

Enjoy the peace and quiet. And if it gets boring you can always bet on whether I have painted my Squat army to the 10k mark when I get back.  :;):

Thanks everybody! I hope you enjoyed the peace and quiet because I'm back.  }:)

Those of you who bet against me finishing the Squat army can collect your winnings; I didn't touch a single paintbrush during the whole vacation. My only excuse is that the weather really favored me. Only last week had any of the usual Finnish summer weather (i.e. about 16C to 19C; clouds, wind, rain, mosquitoes...).

I did read a couple of wargame rulesets, however, and played some "Pirates of the Spanish Main" with the young 'uns.

I also re-read two books about tank warfare in the Continuation war by a Finnish tanker veteran Reino Lehv?slaiho. Pity the books will probably never be translated to English; I can think of several forum members who would probably be interested in reading those.  :blues:

As suspected I did visit the one  and only tank museum we have. Artillery museum has to wait for another time.

well, Mojarn, here's something to do in your spare time: translate them!  :p  :D

Cheers Mojarn - nice to have you back.  :)

Only two problems with that.

1) Copyright. I doubt the publisher would appreciate me doing it...

2) I'm no professional translator. Even though I could translate it it would "sound" like Finnish in English if you know what I mean.    I don't know enough of the everyday sayings and such to write fluent English.

Cheers Mojarn - nice to have you back.  :)

Thanks! It's nice to come back home as Justiniel said.

Objection 1 - well, you could do it officially, with his permission - in fact, get him to pay you!  :D
Objection 2 - denied! Your English is better than that of us - er - Maltese  :p If you see us as ex-colonials, it counts!  :;):
