So with the last two FireBases having sections on EA has anyone drifted our way from WarSeer?  I know E&C has his Cadian blog over there as well, I'd be curious to know if any of this is sparking interested in the 40k players?

I honestly have never spent much time over at Warseer.  If there's a link to a post I'll check it out, but I never got into that forum.

Very Rarely go there ... Here, Maksim's 6mmSFWG site and Hammer's Slammers Yahoo site ...  We got it going on here ! :D

I go to Warseer.

Then again, I wrote 70% of the Specialist Games content for this issue of Firebase, so that's not really surprising. :)

People are really liking 'The Siege of Mossino' over there right now!

The question was:
Are 40k players from Warseer coming over to Tactical Command if I am not mistaken.

I dunno....

Don't think so ... :)  They are too entrenched in 40K ...

Back in September at the launch event for our wargaming centre, I introduced two Warseer 'regulars' to Epic, both had never played it, and both were really impressed.  One of them has since added Epic Orks to his fantasy & 40k orientated painting thread, and has posted comments about rules clarification.  So I think that's one convert... :)  Indoctrination - sorry, introduction to Epic is standard for all guests who visit our facilities... :p :;):

I think the problem is that players feel that they might not find regular opponents to play Epic against, even though there is usually a favourable response when anyone puts pictures of Epic minis on Warseer.  That, and I think all 40k players are still a bit bedazzled by the 'bling' of Apocalypse. :glare:

Anyway, I was impressed by the Epic content in Firebase this time round (pleased you've found a use for the battle report I sent you in next month's issue, E&C  ), and the Siege of Mossino supplement is really, really cool, well done!

Yep, new articles (For all 40k-related SG systems!) would be appreciated, to help continue converting! :)

That's what I was hoping for, good.  What are you looking for in the way of content E&C?  I could always do a BatRep or something.

Batreps, Tacticas, Guides, Intros to each system... even opinion pieces.

The things that shoehorned me from 40K to Epic were:
1) Disgust with 40K's craptacular rules.
2) Jervis' design notes for E:A.
3) The free E:A rules.

Write that as a decent sized article and I'll include it. :D

Crapola rules is what kept me away from 40K ... plus I like the Epic scale models better ...

Great work on your firebase stuf E&C, loved the mossino supplement - Seems almost perfect (in content) as a Forgeworld piece and showcase.

I take it we'll see the supplement at Fanatic Mag at some point?
