"Dogtroopers" is the unofficial name of my Necromundian Imperial guard regiment I've been building up for about 20 years.

Being a Dogtrooper in the masses of the Necorundian IG means being a grunt, one of the many. A play on Dog soldier. This force is made up of original codex grey IG from the original box sets and the army I was obsessed with when I found this forum.

Yorkie is my callsign on all the forums im on.

Its not just that im from Yorkshire, but my regiment, "the prince of wales's own regiment of Yorkshire" were known as the "Yorkies". Unfortunately the government, in their wisdom have amalgamated my unit twice in the last decade, so the Yorkies are no more.

It seems a few people I used to know are still around.

My online name comes from my first email address I used in the very first Epic mailing list. Mojarn Piett was taken from the original Rogue Trader era Chapter Approved book. He was a fat penal legion lieutenant whose men lived in mortal terror of him. It was rumored he ate the wounded during a battle where his unit was cut off and no supplies got through. I chose him because his physical appearence is the exact opposite of my own.

As for the avatar, way back someone uploaded more avatars to the forum and this was the only tank. I like tanks.
