Hello All!

Whilst rumaging through my collection I came across a pair of Resin Orc Gargants. At first I thought they were another companies copies, as I dont remember GW/Citadel ever doing Gargants in resin, however one of them still has a Citadel sticker on the bottom warning of the danger of eating resin so I guess I am wrong.

What can anybody tell me about them? Specifically, I was wondering what year they are from and were they part of a range of resin epic stuff that I don't remember? Also are they collectable? As I have a multitude of Gargants, these buggers are pretty much surplus to requirements so if they are worth anything I might move them on to fund other stuff.

Ok here are a few pics. As you can see one has been undercoated and a little paint aplied at some point in the distant past, whilst the second is unpainted. Both of them are filthy and dusty from sitting in my loft for years, a quick wash with some soapy water will bring them up nicely I fancy. Also there was a bag of metal components with them all of which seem in good condition.






This is the sticker that is still under the painted gargant.

Yep; fairly rare - I have of those myself. They were early limited run gargants, before they did the metal one. There were two sorts - the ones you have are the 'fat' one, there was also a 'tall' one:



Prices vary but at a guess they might be worth £30-40 or so each where you to eBay them (one at time better).

Yes, very nice !! Thanks for the pics !! IIRC, they are supposed to represent the Ork Gods ... Gork & Mork ... One tall and thin ... one short and fat ... At least that's what I was told, IIRC ...
