It will be an objective/diorama (not too original in itself), but what I have in mind is something I've not seen elsewhere. When I've finished it and post pics I'm sure someone will have seen something like it bofore, however!

Hello again! NO new pics of minis to post this time  even though I received for Christmas a rather smart new Digital camera with a decent zoom on it... can't seem to get it to take decent pics of my Epic minis  so I hope you don't mind waiting a little while longer for detail shots... 
Not much to report painting wise, as over Christmas with being away with my family in France, and impending assignments, I've not been able to do much. Except go over the spray undercoat of these dudes, touching up the bits the spray missed (the most tedious part of painting any mini!):
I have also been doing some painting of the non-miniature, matt-vinyl variety: decorating my girlfriend's hallway ready for her to sell it next month (fingers crossed!).
I'll be back in to the painting in a big way next week, working on a few more Epic Chimeras, and 1-or-2 of those assault marines.
Oh, I nearly forgot - I've been naughty and broken my new minis amnesty  - I bought several Epic marine models to finish off my Epic Fire Storm army (which I'll finish when I've done my Epic Guard army), some Whirlwinds & Hunters to take my Epic Iron Hands up to 3,500 points (and add some much needed AA fire power!); I also bought two of the PBG Warhounds from FW (as I've currently got the ones with Turbo lasers, and wanted to make sure the army's in keeping with the rulebook entries for tourny purposes). I plan to break it again when the DRM advance orders are ready!

so I can't brighten them up, which is a shame as a lot of the colours and details have been lost.
